After the Haney failure and what followed for Shakur I won't be surprised if he ends up getting even less offered from DLH or not getting Zepeda at all by rejecting Turki.
Good question, I would guess the answer to be NO.

Golden Boy will submit a low bid. Shakur's best hope is for his promoter(Matchroom) to come up with a big bid number or else he's stuck taking a low purse or dropping his title...

If they can’t reach a deal then let it go to purse bids and let’s see who is the one that ducks out.

Even tho they paid them well they eventually let them go because they never made a profit. All those clowns who just 5 years ago were trying to convince us that Dazn was going to takeover have completely abandoned them. Now they have been on the Turki train for the last 12 months. Pretty soon they are going to be sucking white (Dana) balls and telling us to follow TKO and not PBC!
Perfect post. After it’s become clear that Turki doesn’t have “unlimited funds” that the “anyone but Haymon” crowd tried to convince us he had, Dana white will become the new great white hope. The Turki craze looks EXACTLY like the Hearn/Dazn craze did 5-6 years ago. The incels want “an American takeover” so very badly, they look for a messiah anywhere they can get one in hopes that someone unseats Haymon and oddly he keeps moving higher and higher in his business agreements. Now he is chummy with Bezos…

Before Zepeda's struggles with Farmer, this would have been a really big fight but Farmer took all that shine away from it. If Shakur thinks this is a big important fight that the public is clamoring for, he really should rethink that.

Too right mate, where are the “earn with Hearn” and the “time to put the kettle on” council estate chavs?

I'm gonna absolutely LAUGH if they go to purse bid only for Shakur to end up with the same, or god forbid a purse LESS than what Turki offered to him...which isn't impossible, knowing Shakur's (lack of) popularity and that the funding for any major Matchroom card is basically from Turki nowadays.

My prediction in no particular order:
                  1) After seeing the Roach fiasco, DLH decides he'd rather roll the die with Tank vs Zepeda and Shakur loses out on the Zepeda match as a whole. People tend to forget but Zepeda is still ranked no. 1 for Tank's WBA. It will also likely be better money too.
                  2) Turki, given his tendancies to be petty and hold grudges, decide not to fund it at all and the purse bid won by GB ends up being even less than what Shakur rejected from Turki.
                  3) Matchroom/Turki puts in the same amount as the offer and wins the bid anyway.
                  4) Shakur decides to go bow to Turki afterall, they shake hands and hug and everything is nice again.

Why bother bringing Tank into the equation.

He is unstable and no one can predict who he will fight next.
