Just in case you forgot that point
You are right. I would be remiss to not to mention the fact that Bivol also threw and landed the cleaner punches too.

It’s called the “Sweet Science” for a reason my friend. It’s the art of hitting while not getting hit; Ring generalship.
Willie Pep invented it. While Cassius Clay perfected it.

Dmitry Bivol would have been a damn fool to just stand there exchange and trade punches against a much stronger puncher as Beterbiev.

Dmitry whooped Artur’s ass fighting his variation of the stick and move fighting style. Bivol was throwing and landing his punches in bunches.

While Beterbiev was the one loading up to land only single punches at a time.

        • i guess beterbiev doesnt know how to cut off the ring when bivol was "running" lol.... that's a pretty basic boxing fundamental.

          • I wouldn't mind seeing them face other opponents. Their fights remind me of Canelo-GGG. Just very underwhelming. Not enough damage, no knockdowns. Nobody really staggering all over the place either from being hurt. I know it's high level boxing, but there is also entertainment value involved and I can't say I've been blown away by them at all.

            • It just occured to me how big of a mental adjustment it must be, going from trying to earn a belt, to finally winning it and now defending it and trying not to lose it.

No wonder so many guys who get their belts (not by email) then sit on them and fight nobodies.

Bivol had nothing to lose vs Beter 2. But, even though I think he'll handle Benavidez, it still must be a big adjustment.

Say what you will but if you look Arlin it was a great show from two top notch fighters
                      1-1 all tied up
                      Let’s get the trilogy going
Both are deserving of that big pay
