I genuinely don't know why but I'm betting big on Morrell, just because Morrell seems to want this one. IDK why but Morrell seems 100% convinced that he will brutalise Benavidez. I have tried googling & I can't find much about sparring history so I don't even know why Morrell is so confident but I just can't ignore, he seems convinced he'll absolutely murder Benavidez.

He's been pushing for this fight for what seems like forever. He's got it now, so I hope even if he loses (and it's likely), he goes out on his shield.

The question is can Morrell even hurt Benavidez? If he can then Benavidez is in for a whole lot of hurt. However, if he can't. Then Benavidez would just simply win the fight on points with his high punch volume and workrate.

Without a doubt, Benny’s output is a problem for most. But will he be able to deliver that level of performance versus a puncher like Morrell? Power keeps opponents honest. Not sure Benavidez wants to open up too much versus his namesake. We shall see.
