He failed when it mattered and that's really all there is to it. The past test are irrelevant.
Ryan Garcia tested negative on 2/26, 3/8, 3/15, and 4/3

I rarely defend anyone who fails a test, I don't think I've ever done it, but this is first guy I've seen to get straight onto video, speak to the world rather than saying nothing and keeping it hidden or releasing some scripted statement. When you watch him, he really doesn't come off as someone who cheated/took PEDs.
This was a Maidana-Broner moment for boxing and i’m sure some would love to put this loss under the rug and say Haney is undefeated.Comment

What the common theme seems to be on here is people pick and choose when they want to do a PED crusade. Not saying TS is doing that, but generally speaking.
Look at Conor Benn’s situation, he passed all of his VADA drug tests before and after his two failed ones.
He tested positive for Clomid, which is barely even a PED if I’m being honest, it’s used as a PCT. And realistically speaking, the timing of those failed drug tests for Clomid doesn’t really add up.
But Benn is labelled a certified cheat, and rightfully so because at the end of the day banned substances were in his system twice.
If we look at practically any failed PED case, they’re all close to the same. 1-2 failed tests, for trace amounts, surrounded by a number of passed tests throughout camp.
If we are going to throw one out, then we need to throw all of them out. But that would be silly.Comment

People defending A LITERAL CHEATER because he is a prettyboy is absolutely ****ing insane! Man y’all are a disgrace to boxing, no offense.

Does Canelo’s make sense? Does Conor Benn’s make sense? Does Amir Khan’s make sense? Does Dillian Whyte’s make sense? Does Tyson Fury’s make sense?
The same thing that applies for Garcia applies for all of them.

But back to what Weebler said, it’s true, fighters aren’t quick to defend themselves like this but it doesn’t make him innocent, and also, I think this vehement denial of PED use is a younger generation thing. The Benn kid did/is doing a similar thing with his failed drug test and he has actually seen some success with his defense.
It could also be that guys like Benn and Garcia truly believe they are innocent and that’s why they’re really the only one’s who are angrily defending themselves with such passion.Comment

Ostarine clears your system in 48 hours. So it's very possible he took it last minute.
Only two possibilities: Garcia took Ostarine knowingly, or he took a supplement that was contaminated with Ostarine.
No one takes Ostarine to cut weight. It is not a diuretic.
So, if I give him the benefit of the doubt: he took a substance that was contaminated.Last edited by TheCell8; 05-03-2024, 08:56 AM.Comment

Ostarine clears your system in 48 hours. It's absolutely plausible that Garcia took it right before the fight hoping it would clear his system in time. Huge backfire.Comment
