We will learn a great deal in this fight between Joshua and Ngannou.

And exactly what does the PFL CEO know about boxing?????

Why is he even quoted?? Why is this a story?? Dude has never worked in boxing. Not sure if he's ever even watched a boxing match.

Might as well start writing stories based on the boxing opinions of random MMA fans off the street.

The problem is once he is down, his brain gets away from him and his heart quickly follows!

Yes I agree the volume of punches to the head results in more deaths. I dont think that really says much about chins though. You play out the same fight under MMA rules and the same fighters would get stopped a lot quicker just because of the nature of the sport. Wilder/Fury 1 and 3 for example would have been over in the early rounds.
Have you seen the Jake Paul fights? All these MMA guys used to taking elbows and kicks - couldn't take a single punch from a YouTuber??

As for Conor - he was never stopped by punches before Mayweather.... only by submission. Conor said Floyd stopped him and we saw it. Stop changing the story..

Joshua by brutal KO. Fury couldve had Ngannou out of there early but toyed with him and it backfired. Poor conditioning and prep showed as Fury looked like a bum.

Lol Conor was "stopped" without ever touching the canvas, 30 mins into the fight when gassed as ****, the fight lasted longer than an MMA championship fight.

That "Youtuber" just knocked out an actual boxer with a 10-1 record in the first round....

Conor said he couldn't cope when Mayweather put his hands in front of his face and marched him down.. - not something you can do in MMA with small gloves

And honestly the real answer is the Jake Paul fights are cons - first of all pretty much every boxer has a great early record (fighting bums). Secondly all the MMA guys he fought were from the weight division below him. Even Tommy Fury fought at a lower weight. ALSO Jake Paul does actually hit very hard and has good skills for his early progression. But he's not a great boxer. He's now beaten one random boxer.... one more than Ngannou so far.

I agree with a lot of your post, but come on bro, if Ngannou took the usual route the typical boxing prospect takes imagine the record he'd have. ****ing Fabio Maldonado went 25-0 and Lucas Browne 24-0 before they got to a level where they started losing and they were ex-MMA guys who were about 50 levels below Ngannou. Between fighting Fury in boxing and fighting guys like Gane, Reem, JDS, Stipe, Rozenstruik, Lewis, Arlovski etc in MMA hes fought better "boxers" than someone like Makhmudov has and he was hyped as a ****ing monster.
