He was cut bad in sparring. Judge by the photo. Fury is shot and not very good on defense.

He should at least wait for the extra 10 million and sounds like he's guaranteed a decent opponent. If Fury can't make the May date, WBC ought to make him champ in recess. They should do that now IMO, but they're so corrupt.

There is no assurance in life.

But like I said, it says a lot about you and other 'boxing fans' who make threads praying fights don't happen and then gloating about it when it doesn't.

          Sad, sad, sad.

That's not what this thread is about. You've missed the mark by a long way.

Not really, but now that it’s rescheduled he would be better off just waiting.

That was true in December too though.

"It's only two months, it's a duck if he moves on".

Now it's "only three months, he'd be better off waiting".

A year ago it was just one more condition, then one more condition, then one more condition.

It's called "salami tactics". Slice by slice. No single issue is great enough to justify walking away but taken cumulatively it's been a huge delay. And through multiple camps, Usyk has had one fight in 18 months and could spend the tail end of his career facing mandatories.

I reckon Usyk should fight on February 17 and let Fury rearrange his own schedule if he wants to make the fight happen.

He should have a fight before revisiting Tyson though.
If he takes a fight & gets hurt or cut & can't make the new May 18 date hes losing money.

Dude has a career high payday thats gonna assure he has generational wealth in May. If Fury fooks up again Usyk is still gonna get a big fight on that date PLUS $10M extra. Usyk is frustrated I'm sure but hes not ******. Fighting before May is a huge risk.

Lets not act like Usyk is some super active guy. The dude has had one fight a yr for the last several yrs.

                    May 24 vs Tyson
                    (9mos off)

                    Aug 22 vs AJ
                    (11mos off)
                    Sept 21 vs AJ
                    (11mos off)
                    Oct 20 vs Delboy
                    (1yr off)
                    Oct 19 vs Chazz
                    (11mos off)

Dude is already in a tighter turnaround than hes had since 2018.

But that's exactly what Fury did. He got hurt fighting a crossover fight when he had an undisputed fight booked.

He fought two or three times a year before that. The period you're showing is pretty much COVID, plus his Joshua mandatory and rematch responsibilities, and then the time he's spent trying to get Fury in the ring.

He's got no pattern of inactivity. And he was ready to fight in both December and February - he didn't delay those fights.
