You saw how much faster he started vs everyone else, and let's not forget that he's always fighting bigger and stronger guys.

It is really sad, and pretty ******, as he had put off surgery on it for years, and his dad told him to postpone the Lopez fight and get it fixed first. He thought he could beat Lopez with the problem.
He started way too late. His skill set and ring IQ put him on a level with the elite of all time. But his career, even with the HOF and great fighters he has demolished, will end up a disappointment. Unless he goes on a crazy KO fest and fights another two years with no losses and regains his former dominance, he will be seen as a "could have been great" type of fighter. I love the guy, he waited too long to go pro.

Unfortunately I don’t think he’ll go on a KO streak because on the promos for his Haney fight he said that he’s found a new reason in God and is living a humble life of redemption for his sins. With his newly found belief he doesn’t see the point in pushing for KOs and trying to hurt his opponents because they also have people who care for them. I think that’s weird coming out of a professional boxer but that’s what he believes in.
With that said I still think that if he fights Tank he beats him because the guy throws 300 punches in 12 rounds and is always trying to set up traps but with Lomas IQ I don’t think that will work. But anyway, that fight is never happening.
If he fights Shakur he could beat him as well because he is seemingly really limited against southpaws judging by his last fight and Loma is not as slow as people make him out to be, the guy was faster than Haney and Stevenson seems even slower than Haney.
If he wins against them and that’s a huge but because you have to factor in robberies, he might still end up in the HoF in good shape considering his losses are all disputed and most people including me saw him clearly winning against Haney. Ain’t no way Haney won even 5 rounds. There are some competitive ones but every time I watch the fight it’s 8-4 Loma.
With that being said Loma smokes Kambosos but I’m not sure about KOing him considering Loma don’t want to hurt his opponents.

Kambosos is going to get clowned. Then Lomachenko is going to get right back into the WBC #1 contender spot because he wrecks a guy that Haney couldn't do over 24 rounds and Shakur "retired".
That's my prediction.
Lomachenko shines against the C and B level guys.

Loma wins this fight without even trying hard because Kambosos simply cannot fight. Which is something I find very interesting because Teo lost to this kid.

I for one would like him to start faster and stop taking his foot off the gas. All his losses, he was pretty much in control by the end, and if he'd banked one or two more rounds early, or stepped up another gear, he would likely have won, maybe by stoppage. He's always been his own worst enemy. He was beating the crap out of Salido by the end of that fight, despite taking over 50 low blows. He basically gave up the first 7 rounds to Lopez. And he had Haney in all kinds of trouble in 11 and then took his foot off the gas and LET Haney win 12 in his best shot at undisputed.
You described it to a fughin tee
He's always been his own worst enemy
Truer words right here
