No disrespect to Bill Haney but if Spence came into that bout depleted then it’s nobody’s fault but his own.

Given his inactivity, not fighting tuneups and fighting only three times in the past four years; While partying and living a very fast lifestyle.

All played roles in his body shutting down and becoming depleted. Chances are he probably didn’t even train much for that fight.

It’s more likely than not that he spent most of his time in training camp cutting weight. Which is a shame.

He has the biggest Goddamn fight of his career and yet he still comes into that bout both unprepared, unfocused and undisciplined.

He underestimated Crawford and took him lightly because of his lack of size and as result of it; He paid dearly for it.

You’re correct, but that’s his point. Haney’s top wins weren’t depleted; in fact, he apparently was depleted himself and still racked up top quality wins.

Man has beaten one legit threat, one and barely. Who is supposed to be the opponent that makes him p4p kambosos? Squeaking by barely against loma, and then beating Regis. Gtfoh.

Haney went life and death with Loma when he had a 20 pound weight advantage.

Then a decision win with a 10 pound weight advantage, hitting a slow plodder at will and can barely put a dent in him with feather fists.

How is he p4p better than crawford again?

If he already weighs 165 on fight night, then if devin is so great why doesnt he fight crawford next fight? hell he can fight him at 154 hes so ***ing big, he can go up 3 weight classes and STILL have to cut 10 pounds.

Haney didn't even beat Loma convincingly, I'd give him a draw at best. Obviously they didn't want anything to do with a rematch.

Haney should focus on unifying the 140 titles. Teofimo vs Haney is a blockbuster showdown that will be epic in 2024.

To this id ask How is it too soon to face crawford if A devin is 165 lbs come fight night and B Devin is the best in the sport? Make it make sense Bill. If Devin is that dude and you want to go to 147 then wouldn't Crawford be the highest paying fight? Its like I’m watching Bill Levar Ball his son after his best performance. Talk about unifying and facing champions. If you think your son is better than Crawford make the fight happen or cut the nonsense.

That’s very true but at the very least he deserves to be in the top ten P4P list. I know he is currently ranked numbet 6 on both the ring and ESPN’s P4P lists.

We debate about our own personal rankings.
I think I was talking about there being no P4P list.. you know? The list the article is talking about? Lol..
