He was talking #1 in literally the same weight class as Crawford. Epic levels of insanity. It's really simple to knock off the mantle. You thought he carried Spence. Put Haney in the ring with him.

Loma hasn't fought the same since Teo nullified his offense for 6 rounds. That's what really happened.

Like they say Bill ... 'don't get high on your own supply' .It's a good start that everyone expected but lets see what happens when it's even money and there's plenty of them out there. Bill's a good chair leader but he just may regret peaking too soon!

Regis......most people can't name 3 of his opponents. He was already getting heat due to his last performance before Haney. Regis was in NO ONE'S p4p rankings. He was just a solid 140lb'er with very few big names to even be compared to in his division. Regis has also struggled to make weight twice in his career so his discipline is no where near that of Spence. The match ups/accomplishments aren't parallel by far.
I would love to see him in the ring vs Teofimo next. He's not going to face Shakur anytime soon. He is well aware of the issues he would have vs Shakur. He washes Ryan Garcia in a similar fashion he did with Regis. Ryan in my opinion is the most overrated of the up and coming big names. He has a win over nobody worth barking about and have showcased so many holes in his game that elite and average fighters will capitalize on. We can just ignore the Tank match up. That's never going to happen. Tank is never going to fight Devin at a 140lbs and Haney talks a good game but he's not coming back down to 135. If anything he's going to move up to 147, which I think is going to be where he has his best fights. Jaron Ennis was rumored as a target last week.

If Bill wants to play that game how much credit can we give Haney for beating a 34 year old Prograis, a 35 Lomachenko, or a 36 year old Linares?
