Nothing aka Floyd is a product of marketing.

DLH is a genuine star without it.
How is he a product of marketing when he made all his big bucks after he left Arum? Think about what you say before you write it.

Thats why during the negotiations for the rematch, Floyd was one of the only few to tell Oscar to shove it because Floyd knew that he could do numbers without Oscar. Ask Shane how that is working out for him

Thats exactly what makes Oscar special.

He never needed to go on prime time tv dance shows, or wrestling to help him become the face of the sport.

      He just was.

Some people have "it", some don't.

So it has to be created.

I do think about what I say.

        Now tell me,

what is Floyd without 24/7, DWTS, and WWE?

Mayweather Promotions was not the lead promoter in that fight contrary to what you might've read. You think Mayweather Promotions payed for all the press tours, the venue, advertisements? Richard Schaeffer was the one mostly at the forefront of promoting the fight, and the last time I checked he's the CEO of GBP.

As a matter of fact, Mayweather Promotions isn't even a licensed promotion to promote fights on their own. How many Mayweather Promotions fights have you seen that didn't include Floyd himself? It's like a rapper talking about his record label, yet he has to go through Sony or Interscope to get distribution (i.e. GBP).

Who is to say thats why he did it? Thats what you dont get. Floyd loves going on Wrestling, period. He grew up on it. He will do it even when the boxing stops. He even said that he may retire from boxing and become a full time wrestler. Also again, unless you sell out like a punk then it doesnt matter how you do it as long as you do it and he does it. The numbers dont lie.

I wouldnt know because he's that right now. Also, I know the man was retired for 2 years and every boxing site was dominated by Mayweather content, none more then this site. I know that everytime any fighter won, all we talked about was how he matches up with Floyd. Am I right? Dont act like he's not popular because he is

lol, you keep digging yourself deeper and deeper.

If he loves it so much,

why not do it before he was "Money"?

Because nobody cared about who he was much less knew who he was.

People knew about DLH from the jump.

People are barely getting to know about Floyd, 10 years in the game.

                  Manufactured.

What was Floyd before the DLH fight, before, 24/7, before DWTS, and before WWE?

and, what were his PPV numbers before all of that?

Next, you're going to tell me it was Floyd who waited all these years to finally become a name.

                    lol, you cats are comedy.

so if you have to work to get somehting, that means its manufactured? I thought it was the other way around. I thought Oscar's was manufactured since he had the whole marketing team around him from the jump without doing anything. You could argue that he's an boxing version of Ana Kourinkova. Cant win any big fights but is the biggest draw. You dont think thats manufactured? Id rather have the biggest draw be the best fighter in teh game just like it is now. NOw thats the real deal
