All in all, Im tired of arguing about the stuff but the fact is the numbers speak for themselves. If he fights Mosley or anyone next he probably does 1.5 at the minimum and if he fights Pac he probably does 3. How can you downplay that? No one isnt saying that Oscar isnt a bad boy but give Floyd his due. Im tired of arguing because I know Im not going to win because when it comes to Floyd he will always be hated on and it will always be spun how it wasnt because of him. It gets old to me. The man is undefeated, rated P4P #1 or 2, and is the biggest money man in the game. People dont want to accept that for whatever reason but they need to start.

    Peace, Im out

That makes no sense. Now you're saying Mayweather Promotions payed GBP for them to promote Mayweather Promotions?

Why would they pay GBP to do their job that apparently you believe they did themselves or were the "lead"?

Cant win any big fights but is the biggest draw. You dont think thats manufactured? Id rather have the biggest draw be the best fighter in teh game just like it is now. NOw thats the real deal
        The real deal is this,

people were checking for Oscar De La Hoya as an amateur. They followed his rise to the Olympics and watched him win gold for his country and then followed his pro career.

        How is that manufactured?

Having to set yourself up to be seen by the american public on television time after time to gain an audience is the epitome of manufactured boxing star.

Now go cry about it in your Money Mayweather bedsheets.

Actually, there was an article on here about it before the fight and everyone took it as bond when they thought the fight would bomb but I bet no one wants to admit it now. It talked about how Floyd overstepped by guaranteeign JMM so much and he also has to pay GBP. Thats why he's trying so hard to sell the fight and he's going to end up losing out big

Nobody's arguing with you homeboy, you're just simply overselling Floyd right now in comparison to what Oscar laid the foundation for.

Holla at us in a couple of years and it could be a different story.

But that's irrelevant because you're saying it was all because of Floyd's promotion, when in actuality it was GBP.

Why is that so hard to swallow?

Thats why during the negotiations for the rematch, Floyd was one of the only few to tell Oscar to shove it because Floyd knew that he could do numbers without Oscar. Ask Shane how that is working out for him
No clown! stop putting words in my mouth. This thread started because someone said Floyd had reached Oscars super stardom. I'm just staing the facts that he has'nt. He was dubbed the Gloen Boy because he won a Gold Medal at the 92 Olympics. Floyd could'nt win the gold. Floyd still did'nt have to work his way up the old school way. Floyd was fed with a silver spoon coming up just like most up and coming prospects. So was Oscar but once Oscar got to the top he fought everyone.

Because there was alot of money invested to make him that star.
