Both guys carried more than their share of boxings overall popularity on their shoulders, probably more so Floyd but it applies to Canelo too. You take Floyd away from 2007-2015 or Canelo away from the post-Floyd/Pac era and the sport as a whole is in a much worse state from a commercial perspective.

Speaking isn’t the issue here. Reading is. Clearly you either can’t read or didn’t read this properly.

Either way, I have clarified where your misunderstanding was. No need to continue.

Pacquiao resurrected boxing. Floyd was in retirement crying. He avoided fights, then came back when everyone fought one another and battle weary. Fans wanted to see him lose when he came back. Most hated personality in boxing.

Mayweather saved boxing has to be the biggest gaslighting I've heard. The dude is what RUINED boxing. The only reason he sold tickets was because people wanted to see him lose. It's funny you say he saved boxing. Did you catch the Baldomir fight? You must of left that one off your viewing list. It had audience WALKING out during the match because it was so boring. Yet, it was no different than almost any other Mayweather fight. The difference has always been the opponent. People came to support his dance partner in hopes of seeing them give Fraud the "L". That is what sold. That is what got people to pack the arenas.

If you're comparing Mayweather who rarely dropped a KO when he got popular, to Canelo who gave a lot of KO wins to the audience while being a "hot" commodity, then you're as delusional as Fraud who claims to be TBE which is simply not true.

Of course it does. Floyd literally made the 24/7 type show a staple of the sport.

No matter what style, race or nationality of fighter, Floyd took them to their highest PPV total.

Floyd became a household name. The last boxer to really do that.

I get you hate him but geez, Floyd even put enough dough in Manny’s pockets that he can pay you minimum wage to wash his taint and nutsack with your tongue for years to come.

                You should be more appreciative.

You're obsessed with Floyd even though you claim to hate him. That was another demographic of fans Floyd was bringing in.

True. Pacquiao was carrying the sport for a long time.

Yup. They all hate it that Floyd took the guys they like to their highest heights.

It’s hilarious watching guys pretend it was someone other than Floyd.

ODH, Shane, Manny, cotto, conor, Canelo etc etc all had their largest ppv sales with Floyd.

Now Floyd’s protege Tank is on the cusp of overtaking Canelo ( of course he needs to fight top guys which is questionable).
