Shakur is the most avoided in boxing at the moment

Haney offered him 25% like a ***in joke and cried like Shakur ducked him. Shakur deserved at least 35%. And, I am generous to Haney because of his undisputed run.

Frank Martin literally made one of the most obvious duckings in my recent memory. They talked and dealt. Then he suddenly cancelled the fight.

I am Loma fan but he doesn't wanna fight Shakur as well. If they didn't rob him in Haney, maybe he could have retained his belts against Shakur. But, he doesn't wanna fight right now.

He is struggling to find opponents. He gotta move up or accept Haney's BS offer.

Difference is Shakura wants everybody, including 2nd tier, 3rd tier fighters. Meaning, he's not scared of losing to a nobody. Ennis, otoh, only wants the top guys, high risk, high reward types, which is good, IF there are plenty of these high reward types. He'd rather stay inactive waiting for only heavens know what.

What do you think? Would you rather see Boots Ennis wait for a year waiting for...only heavens know what, or stay active?

This is true and so when Frank Martin asked for an even split, that wasn't crazy at all, imo.

I understand boxing is also a business so I'm definitely not saying Shakur should fight for cheap everytime, but no matter how you slice it Shakur is currently a beltless boxer at light weight but good enough where the opponent is getting a high risk no return situation, which probably is a big reason on to why he can't get opponents. Shakur is still young enough and if he is truly confident with his ability to win, why can't he just take the ****ty money offer from Haney if it is actually available so that he can become a unified champion with a win, then have the reward (belts) available on his side so he can negotiate with more advantage financially instead of waiting endlessly for better deals that likely won't come without belts on him.

Shakur gets good ratings on ESPN and he draws in New Jersey.

I think Shakur's real issue is he might not want to pay the cost to be the boss. Making necessary concessions now would pay off in the long run.
