Anyway, the point I was making is that Tank is a pressure fighter like Spence whereas Stevenson is more of a slick counter puncher like Bud so would just outbox him. However, I do agree that Stevenson looks to be even more talented than Crawford which is SCARY and they obviously train together because their styles are so similar.
Crawbum is one fight scam. Inoue will be #1 in December after becomes 2x undisputed and Crawbum won't be in top 5 after Canelo spanks him.

Shakur is future P4P #1. He can stay at #1 2-3 years. He is the most talented black fighter on the planet. I am not talking about athleticism. He ain't that athletic. His fundamentals are too good.

Haha we will see although I wouldn't be surprised to see him outbox Canelo like Bivol did given their most recent performances.

Totally agree on Shakur...he seems to have it all i.e. temperament, ring IQ, range, hand-eye coordination etc. plus he's been developing his power lately having stopped 2 of his last 4 opponents and dropping Valdez. I don't see anybody beating him not even Tank, Haney, Teofimo or even Inoue (if they were to eventually meet) simply because 'styles make fights' and his is almost impossible to win against.

Canelo spanks Crawbum at the same size let alone 168. Just needs to use his combinations, jabs and head movement. Hitting Crawbum ain't difficult.

Again, Canelo's possibly successor is Shakur. He has potential to be new Mayweather. Young Mayweather had both offense and defense. Shakur just needs to work on his punch power more. Being UD merchant ain't good. KO wins are necessity to become great.

        Cash cows in history:

        Leonard --> ODLH --> Mayweather --> Canelo --> ?

        Shakur might be next ?.

What do you think? Would you rather see Boots Ennis wait for a year waiting for...only heavens know what, or stay active?
Jaron Boots only wants high-reward fights, not necessarily high risk. He wants out-of-prime Thurman, isn't he? Mr Boots fought 3rd to 5th tier fighters all his entire career and now he and his fans don't want X-tier ones even just to stay active because he might look bad, or get derailed.

That's what the poster you responded to wants for his idol. The mere mention of Kavaliauskas irritates the hell out of them as if high reward fights are plentiful. It's a messy sport with fanatical nonsensical fans who think they're better fans than the rest.

Crawford will definitely be noticeably SLOWER with an additional 20lbs+ of weight on him which should play towards Canelo's advantage although his confidence will be damaged after losing almost every round to a slick boxer-puncher like Bivol. I guess we'll just have to see how he performs against Charlo.

Re cash cows, Stevenson could become the next PPV star although for some reason I can't see fans flocking to see his 'boring' one-sided fights unlike the hardcore fans. Instead, I think it will be the likes of Tank Davis or possibly Inoue (if he follows in Pacquiao's footsteps - they're identical in height) as the crowds always love a KO artist. Haney/Teofimo or even Garcia are an outside bet if they keep on winning.

Boots Ennis is probably the second most talented BLACK fighter after Stevenson (I’m not counting Tank who’s already established) and COULD become a huge PPV draw.

Tank will be 29 in November. He will be old dosser when Canelo retires lol. Shakur is still 26. At worst, he might be like 2007-2015 Floyd. Floyd became cash cow at his 30 as well.

Tank will lose soon. He ain't that good. Too much low output and too much sensitivity to get outboxed. Shakur 12-0s him. Even Haney can beat him.

Inoue is great fighter. I think second greatest fighter of the generation behind Canelo. But, he is Japanese and can't become face of boxing.

Shakur is American, slick and solid.

Btw Canelo murders Crawbum at 168. But, it won't be meaningful fight after Inoue becomes #1. Because Canelo's only credit can be taken from "beating p4p king". Inoue won't let that in December.

I personally think Bivol ought to be in the conversation for most avoided fighter in boxing.

Doesn't really matter what forum posters like us say here. You can scream all day till you're blue in the face that you want such and such fight to happen for your fighter and it won't mean anything. Promoters, managers make whatever fights they deem best for their fighters. Not because they read what is posted in these forums. It's just silly to think so.

Forum posters can't even answer simple questions.

I asked this Ennis fan whether he prefers Boots to stay inactive and continue with his waiting game play. He won't answer. Some fans live in fantasy not reality.

Reality is there are only 1 or 2 "high-reward fights" available for fighters. They may never come especially for 2nd-3rd tier fighters. That's why if you're really that great, there's no reason why being so inactive is preferred. The "money fight" you're waiting for may never come.

Lol I forgot Tank was that old...for some reason I thought he was around 26/27...time flies. Still, I rate him very highly and can't see anybody besides Shakur giving him too many problems...he's battle-tested and proven and would put Haney to sleep if he caught him flush like Linares did. As for Inoue, Manny became the face of boxing so I don't see a reason why he couldn't do the same providing he keeps moving up in weight and knocking people out.

Shakur could become the next Floyd although I wouldn't be surprised if he followed in the footsteps of his mentors Crawford+Ward and WASN'T a huge PPV draw.
