Fury is a great fighter. But to date no matter what statistic games you play, nobody can rate him as a great Champion.

Even his own brother in his own words has stated this 'Fury's own brother stated that he does not rate him as a great Champion. Fury much prefers to be a underdog and a fighter chasing a title'.

Tyson Fury does not like being a Champion, he has not taking on all comers 'And by the looks of it, has no real intention to do so. That is not how historically great Champions behave'.

Deontay Wilder, Anthony Joshua were both statistically greater Heavyweight Champion's than Tyson Fury.
    I totally understand your narrative, 100%. But I don't know what's on Fury’s mind.
if he doesn't want frequent fight, he should be a gentleman and Retire!

As a fight fan, I used to love that pattern set by Ali, Holmes, Tyson, Lewis and the Klitschko, when you knew that about every 3.5 months you were going to see some top 10 challenger march up the ring steps and take his shot. We ALL miss that!

He has defended the Actual Championship 9 times. W. Klitschko (Won title), Seferi, Pianeta, Wilder, Schwartz, Wallin, Wilder, Wilder, Whyte, Chisora, and soon, Ngannou.

If Fury "lost his title" somewhere in between, I missed that. Who beat him?
Gilberto Mendoza Jr.?, Daryl Peoples?, Francisco Varcarcel?

Man, brother; and I thought that Francis Ngannou was unworthy of a title shot!

No, not even today. He was a glass jawed fraud.

Usyk has fought everyone put in front of him, and just fought his mandatory. AJ has also at least tried to make the fights. And Wilder at least defended his title multiple times. Fury is by far the main one holding the era up.

I have no idea how he was rated #10. He beat nobody. His best opponents were Buster Mathis Jr & Joe Hipp. He lost both fights. He got ko’d by Mike Dixon & Garing Lane who were trialhorses that many contenders fought on the way up the ranks. Garcia had to avenge a loss to Mike Dixon. No business being anywhere near the top 10.
