He knew how to get guys when they were having personal issues, issues with weight, etc.he had spies in guys camps. Great fighter though, that Floyd
I struggle to buy into the Margarito narrative simply because his shots were never sneaky enough. I can't imagine Floyd saw film of him and felt anything other than that he could pick him apart. Perhaps if that is true it was because of the relentlessness. It would obviously be a long night.

“That’s why people weren’t just running in.” - Shane Mosely Jr.

He didn't have superb power, but it was enough to keep people cautious, and if you did "run in there," well just ask Ricky Hatton! Floyd's TIMING was impeccable! His chin is very underrated too! How he absorbed that BOMB shot from Shane, and then dominated Shane from that round on, is insane!

            1. Mosley is a hall of famer who stepped in the ring with both while you’re a Canelo fan girl with a boxingscene account. You really think anyone values your logic about Canelo being a better puncher? 2. With common opponents, mayweather clearly stunned both Mosley and Cotto more than Canelo did. 3. Mayweather has a 54% ko percentage while canelo has a 66% ko percentage. Not much of a difference. Especially when you take into consideration that Canelo spent the first 35 fights of his career facing primarily farmers, fruits vendors and goat herders.

Mosley was a PED abusing BALCO cheat. His opinion means nothing. Glad Yoko took everything from him.

Beating Mosley at til end of his career doesn't carry the same value as if you were to beat a prime mosley. Ditto Pac. Ditto Oscar.
                    True. Fair point.

Why would it be held against Floyd that they all waited to fight him rather than immediately when he called them out?

Sometimes I forget that Floyd’s win over Canelo was majority and not unanimous, and I chuckle. Regardless, his pop was certainly okay but not devastating. He was a boxer, not a puncher.
