  • …in the theatre there is always an understudy for the main actors in case one should be ill, die, (fail a drugs test!!) :-)

Seems to me that’s where we’ve arrived at with boxing. Too many fans are left disappointed and out of pocket plus the huge financial losses suffered by local business communities when this all too regularly happens so why have they not got an agreed ‘Plan B’ ready to go? The promoters need to learn from the theatre,
    ‘the show must go on!’

    • Otto Wallin would probably jump at the chance to fill in for Whyte.

AJ already fought Molina. The least that MR can do is to choose an opponent AJ hasn't already faced.

They typically have a guy in reserve. Either they're already lined up on the card, or they're being paid to have a camp just in case they are needed.

But Joshua has trained specifically for Whyte. They may well choose not to take a fight at all.

          • I predict that neither Otto Wallin nor Andy Ruiz will get the call to be the replacement. Call me Nostradamus.

              but Joshua? Hmmmm

i guess it’s possible. But didn’t he gain like 30 pounds of muscle between his Olympic run and first pro fight?
              Not sure.

Either way they both have attainable physiques as in it's not outside the realms of possibility if they have gifted genetics. We can't just look at them and assert they're on PED's. Sure, they might be, and in my opinon they likely both are, but we can't know for sure.

Unlike IFBB pro bodybuilders for example, they're all on PED's (most openly), you can't attain that kind of muscle mass without them.

              • This either gets canceled or he fights a tomato can and you can’t blame him. Fight is really close. Doesn’t make sense to fight someone good you haven’t prepared for but don’t want to waste a camp either.

If he fought Charles Martin again it would be fair play IMO. Whyte ****ing blew this.

Yeah Joshua gained a **** tonne of weight at the beginning of his pro career and I’m pretty sure Klit was popped for roids once.

pro boxers are all on something. Look at the Balco scandal: Andre ward and Shane Mosley, Evander and hgh, Roy jones Tyson the list goes on, Pacquiao’s fear of needles, Floyd’s IV and rumours of other evidence he juiced. Fury popped for nandrolone(allegedly?)

now filial while, Conor Benn etc etc. They’re all on it.

not being on it at the highest level is bringing a knife to a gun fight. Joshua 100% was/is taking big time roids. Let’s not muddy the waters it’s pretty obvious

                    I don't disagree.

I have been taking steroids myself for decades. I've taken almost every PED there is to take.

I've also trained an endless about of PED users.

So I know one or two things about them.

My opinion is everyone you just listed used, but we can't say it for sure without the evidence.

I do believe Joshua was on HGH before he turned pro which gave him the HGH gut. The thing is, THAT look was what got him all the attention and views which in turn brought more money into boxing. It could be argued that Dazn would not be in boxing were it not for AJ and hence the landscape of american boxing would be very different. Likewise, i dont think the saudis would be spending like they are now, nor the emeratis. All this money came in through the rise of AJ and matchroom boxing. Hence i kind of excuse AJ for cheating. He's also paid the price for it. HGH causes heart issues later. I know a family of 5 brothers where the eldest brother was around 5ft 4 and he'd get picked on. Their dad ensured the other brothers didnt go through that, by getting them on HGH in their teens. Basically they told me the truth because they're quite honest guys and said they've been on hgh treatment on the nhs.all 4 of the other boys ended up 6ft 2-4 range and then when they got into bodybuilding, these guys were getting a lot of attention from girls too.
Basically, 2 of them died in the past 3 yrs, heart attacks. aged 35 and 33. What AJ weent through in the ruiz fight, eddie's alluded to 'if you knew the truth about what happened to him, you would be surprised he even made it to the ring' (he then said he wont ever be the one to speak, it is upto AJ). I think he has legit heart issues and i think the only reason he went through with the ruiz fight was because of all the fans who'd come from England (over 12000 fans in fact), booked time off work, flights, hotels etc).

I dont think he was ever on actual roids, but he was on Testosterone via TUEs for sure. as soon as Whyte and miller spoke about it, they started popping dirty themselves and consequently he got off the TUEs and we've seen him look very different since then. it is obv.
I do think the popping dirty thing now is about boxing politics. they're all at it, but the laboratories are dirty AF and will fix anyone if they're paid enough and then leak the news to some mook out of the US (tom hauser for example).
I actually think AJ didnt want the whyte fight afterall, too risky for him going into a wilder fight. This helps him get an easier tune up (imagine he loses this though?) with the public being on his side.
