I expect that is exactly the WBO plan. Remove Tszyu as mandatory by having Bud take his title...then have Charlo come back for the fight. Otherwise Charlo has to come back and fight Tszyu....thus postponing the Crawford fight by a year.

The WBO has been good to Bud (and other fighters) by allowing them to challenge for a title in a higher when class when they are the WBO champ in a lower weight class. Makes for compelling match-ups.

Not sure Charlo will physically even be able to come back to 154. Hopefully, Spence passes on the rematch and handing the title to Tszyu makes sense as it sets up a 154 title fight for Crawford. In the unlikely event that Charlo does come back to 154 we got Charlo/Crawford (assuming Crawford beats Tszyu, which I am).
