I hear what you're saying but I'd feel bad for Tsyzu all the same if he was handed the belt and lost it in his first defense against arguably the greatest fighter of his generation. I really think he would've had a better chance against Charlo.

I realise it's probably not "the rules" but, in the event of a title being vacated or stripped, the mandatory challenger should have to fight the next highest ranked fighter for the title.
