But, he did absorb 12 rounds of punishment from Spence. It's unfortunate we never got Mikey/Loma.

How? Maybe he loves what he does. Some people will never retire and Bob's probably one of those people. Not everyone thinks like you.

Haney said "Pushing Loma cost him $400,000" to get a little more attention on fight week. When AJ fought unknown Andy Ruiz at MSG, AJ fan base took over New York City from airports, hotels, pubs/food establishments and MSG itself. What an amazing atmosphere created with AJ presence at
a pretty penny, until Andy ruined their party!

Not really. Fury is like Canelo, Floyd or Manny -- they need no promoter to sell them. Fury can drop Bob and UK promoter tomorrow and be just fine.

I'd love to see it too. Fury slapping around body bags like Chisora and Whyte shouldn't be selling out the Theater at MSG, let alone a massive stadium in the UK.

                    Fury-Wilder 2 did like 800k buys right?

Hearn can’t even get those sort of numbers with Canelo.

Arum has promoted fights that did multimillions of buys at the box office.

This is like a rookie QB calling out Tom Brady.

TR, GBP, and PBC already have enough drama between them, not to mention all of the smaller promoters whom they have alliances with. The last thing they needed was the loud-mouthed Brit trying to get a piece of the pie. Hearn wrongly assumed that money would make fights happen, if it was only that simple. Jacobs got his big fight against Canelo, but Hearn could not throw enough money at Jermall/Tank to face Andrade/Farmer. The person who benefited the most from the DAZN gold rush was Mikey Garcia.
there’s some truth here but I believe Hearn just overvalued them all. There was no reason at all for him to sign them to multi fight deal and guaranteed the $$ he did.
