I also believe that Fury believes time is on his side, and the longer he stalls and wastes time before fighting Usyk, the better his chances of winning the fight will be.
Well at least we agree on one thing it's a business decision which i don't like Fury the businessman instead of Fury is running scared afraid of Usyk. I keep saying i'm not a Fury fan boy i haven't watched legit nothing about him since his last fight i like him in the ring outside of the ring he's an idiot with bi polar i just don't go with the narrative he is afraid of Usyk like most new-found Usyk fans tend to spout.

The article states that DAZN paid $1.9 billion for soccer rights in 2021. So it's not surprising that they would be operating at a loss until that investment pays off. It also states that DAZN generated $1.56 billion in revenue in 2021, and in 2022, revenue increased to $2.3 billion, so they are moving in the right direction.

Like I said, I was a big Fury fan until this debacle started, though I never believed the shtick from he and his dad about how easily he would beat Usyk ... Usyk didn't even deserve to fight him .. blah blah.

Even so, I understand the business side of pro boxing and I wouldn't have condemned him for swerving Usyk if he hadn't done it in such a dishonest and manipulative way .. pretending to want the fight the guy then pricing himself out and trying to make the fans believe it was Usyk who was swerving him, not the other way round.

Tyson deceived and manipulated his own promoters, as well as Usyk and the fans. If you read between the lines of recent statements by Arum and Warren, it seems like they are just as pissed off with him as I am.

Top Rank are running on a tight budget.

They're putting on good shows but they're still running on a tight budget.

They're not promoting or creating stars who can go on to sell arenas.

Very few stars are created in the sport today. Mainly the ones that are, are heavyweights from London with like Joshua and fury. Only Canelo is a household name in america. Gervante is not a household name. And the only reasons he has semi star status is because Mayweather heavily promotes him.

I'd argue against the last point. They have an incredible prospect pool right now. Guys like Keyshawn, Anderson, Junto, Zayas, Torrez, etc. There are definite future stars here.

Top Rank usually has a good prospect pool, which tends to be their advantage over the other big promotional companies. But, prospects fail all the time. Soon, it'll be time to see how much star-power Anderson has. Zayas has a built-in fanbase, so he probably has the best chance of crossing over if he gets the star-making fights. I hesitate to give TR much credit for Nakatani (and Inoue for that matter), but he's past the prospect phase anyway.

Who will probably end up being poached by someone else. Top Rank aren't even doing PPV and these guys won't be tasting big money for a while as long as they are with Scrooge Arum.

Arum is an angry old man who now has to wear diapers. The weed has made him delusional at his old age and he has two of the biggest pompous ******s in Jacobs and Moretti working for him. His stepson Todd is another idiot. Hearn knows that the end is near for the 91 year old Arum, and with the ESPN deal coming to an end, Hearn smells blood and is ready to take over boxing in America once the three stooges, Jacobs, Moretti, and duBoef, are handed the reigns.
