    learn from Haymon??

you mean learn to overpay fighters to fight bums starting since Andre Berto until they eventually lose??

or snagging network contracts to fight on primetime tv, spike, only to end up wasting the opportunity with lopsided fights that garnered little interest. Haymon was relegated to the hallmark channel and BET lmaoo

Or how about losing money so bad that showtime has forced you to put up PPVs for fights nobody cares about

or the fact that showtime itself is about to axe boxing as a whole

PBC has been a failure everywhere they go. They function as a hustle. They make enough money to make themselves and their fighters money while ****ting on the fans and losing money for the networks

"snagging network contracts"...you mean like how the NFL has been snagging network contracts since the 1960s with CBS, NBC, ABC, Fox and ESPN? Or the NBA snagging contracts from CBS, Nbc, ABC, ESPN, Tbs, Tnt and others. Same with the MLB and NHL. It's called finding the best business model for your sport. Bob Arum has taken TR to every network possible since the 1960s. GBP has been on HBO Showtime Dazn and more. MR goes from Shy to Dazn and everywhere else. Dam you are ******. But keep posting g because I love interacting with you idiots!

There's a good reason Haymon doesn't dare show his face in public anymore, nor do many of his closest clowns who are part of PBC, all that investment money that disappeared turned him into Howard Hughes...

Andrade/Farmer/Jacobs are good fighters, but not A-Side material and that's alright because not everyone will be. It failed because Hearn is perceived as the foreign invader, and TR/PBC/GBP have the collective power to freeze him out if they want to. "The enemy of my enemy is my friend." There's no reason why Andrade/Charlo couldn't have happened, and why Munguia avoided a title shot against Andrade. Davis would've potentially dominated Farmer, yet he didn't/couldn't accept the offer. TR notably sent Ramirez to DAZN to face Maurice Hooker, but that feels like an exception. There are maybe 10 examples of significant match-ups made between MR and the U.S. promoters that have been shown on DAZN. Matchroom is swimming against the current. The sport suffers when the promoters are vindictive towards one another. It's impossible to build the perfect boxing stable, so promotional outfits should be bartering consistently throughout the year.
you’re 100% on what you’re saying, but the part you’re missing is the star power. Yes, all those that Hearn signed were really talented fighters, but they can’t even sell 3k tickets in their hometown. I love Andrade, but for whatever reason, the casual fan hates him. Same with farmer. Really good but can’t sell. Hearn gave them both top attraction $, which they’re not, hence why they were free agents to begin with when Hearn signed them. Promoting boxers is a business, you need to make $ at the end of the day. Hearn lost a shiet ton on both because neither are ticket sellers.

Only hearn has the kind of fan-base like the UK, where you can run from a $50 million fight for your guy (probably a $100 + million fight after everyone gets paid) ... and be loved and cheered for blowing it. LoL, no sane promoter/advisor would let that money get away ... and the other guy still has to promote it, advertise it, and pay everyone else!!

I don't think we will ever see a promoter making up justifications to run from guaranteed success $ (that they verified was there). He and that fan base are certainly one of a kind.

PS - count to ten and watch the hearniacs start talking about alternate "fight packages" worth $140 million, etc., and other nonsense. Notice that none of these so-called "packages" ever materialized for anyone outside of Canelo .... and he had that going in. Facts are facts ... hearn gleefully and happily ran from a guaranteed $50 million fight, where he had to do nothing. No rematches. No catch-weights. Nothing to do but sign and show up for the fight. And they have continued to try to get everyone to believe that there could ever be a "good reason" to do that. That somehow, that was gonna make the sport better. LoL!!

Imagine how different Boxing would be today if that fight had gone down, at that time. Now the sport is struggling, and hearn is talking about his promising future (like he is Roger Goodell).
