Starts too slow (didn’t against Haney in fairness)

Coasts and admires his work too much.
and that pitty pat pecking amateur style.

We've all see playground basketball players who incessantly dribble, cross opponents over, and bypass opportunities to score, which is the point of the game.

Rounds 10 and 11 are the only rounds that come to mind that he won without a doubt.
Loma fans had him ahead 8-3 and 9-2 going into the 12th. hahaha

Why did Loma move up from 130?

That led to the divisiveness and garbage whenever he fights. Every fight became a referendum on liking Loma rather than a discussion of the fight.

There was no longer any middle ground for discussion. If you didnt proclaim him an ATG that meant you hated him because he was white. That is the loop NSB is stuck in.

Loma is a damn good boxer. He should imo make the HOF as he was a top p4p boxer for years, occupying the top spot for a while.

He isnt an ATG, isnt the best of his era, is no way, shape or form on the level of Roy or Floyd. Imo he isnt on Manny’s level either.

Don’t see why that isnt ok that he is beneath them.
          Well said.

He’s got 3 losses now in 20 fights.

Perhaps he’s not quite as elite as we initially thought?
It's true. Highly skilled, a favorite against almost anyone near his weight, a star in the sport. Yes. Hall-of-fame candidate? No.

Loma is not overrated. Him taking a loss just overhyped the hate the haters already had against him. He was amazing in his prime, is clearly out of it at 35. All taken in, he gave a performance against a 24yr old that was bigger than him and supposed to be "talented" that many think he beat. That's highly impressive, or Haney just sucks that much. Whichever way you want to cut it.

Bigger doesn’t mean **** when you aren’t that great to begin with.

Pacman was destroying guys that ‘were bigger than him’

That's funny because before the Lomachenko fight Haney was called overhyped, pillow fist, a runner, a hugger, but now he's a "prime top fighter".

Lomachenko lost to Haney. Claiming otherwise doesn't change the outcome.

He did just arguably beat a 24 year old that people slobber all over for some reason. Maybe we should be asking if Haney is not as good as we thought?

Haney has never been hyped as much as Lomachenko. I don't recall anyone claiming Haney was better than Mayweather, Leonard, or Muhammad Ali.
