This confirmed my thoughts that Benavidez stops Canelo if the fight happened but it wont. Eddie is too smart to let Canelo in the ring with the mexican monster

Canelo - Benavidez is actually the fight to make. Both guys like to trade. Canelo has lost his step a little but it would be a great fight.

Beating Morrell would be a big statement fight for Canelo. 9 fights and has already proven to be an elite fighter. His 1st round KO’s vs Yamaguchi Falcao and Mario Abel Cazares really cemented him. And honestly after those fights, I don’t see Canelo fighting him.

Morrell would absolutely be Canelo’s best win if he could beat him, but we all know he wouldn’t. Morrell is going to have to keep beating up all those elite fighters he keeps beating up, until Canelo has no choice but to finally fight him.

If Canelo thought his most challenging fights were Mayweather, GGG, Bivol, Cotto, Jacobs, he is in for a rude awakening if he steps in the ring with Morrell.

I don't follow boxing but it seems like Canelo wins mostly through weight bullying. Go figure, he lost to a heavier guy with some skill.

he can only win if he keeps on fighting all Ryders.
Ramirez - 40 cans -4 contenders - 1 real one = Benavidez = Canelo is the 1st real one on his record. Hope this helps.

Well that is true. Canelo would never fight someone who knows how to fight. He likes to beat up on hopeless Euro bums. How you can be a fan of his I will never understand? He never give us boxing fans the fights we want to see. We never demanded to see a Canelo/Ryder fight.

If Canelo Alvarez rematches Bivol at 175 pounds, he needs to go about the fight in preparation similar to the way Mayweather Junior would 'In fighting a fighter in a above weight class'.

Canelo Alvarez's best weight class is 168 pounds, and I don't think he is that weight drained at this weight. So therefore, Alvarez needs not to attempt to gain weight and increase his dimension's when fighting at 175 pounds 'He should just train and prepare for a fight at 175 pounds, the same way he would train for a fight at 168 pounds'.

Because I have always said it? Alvarez going up and down the weight classes these past years, at some point was going to have a negative effect on his overall conditioning. Going up and down the weights combined with weight draining himself, in order to be the big man 'Over time this training culture and lifestyle has negative effects on a athlete'.

Many people are criticizing Alvarez's performance vs Ryder. But I am not so quick to agree.

I think Alvarez's endurance appeared greater vs Ryder than it did vs Bivol. And at-least this is a area of Alvarez's game which has contributed to him losing both of his fights to Mayeather Junior & Bivol.

Note: I still give Alvarez a chance of beating Bivol at 175 pounds, quite simply because I believe Alvarez's inside game and defense on the offense his superior. If Alvarez can apply this area of his game vs Bivol consistently for 12 rounds, then there is a definitive chance he can beat or at-least really push Bivol.

In order for Alvarez to apply his best attributes against Bivol, he has to somehow increase his endurance by another level 'And improve his closing speed of movement'. Alvarez has the know how and skill to understand how to beat Bivol 'But the challenge will be acquiring and improving the specific aspects of his game to win' etc.

LMAO, those are the ones he’s supposedly ducking? LOL!

                  you are a dumbass

Tell Benavidez to lay off the coke. In the time he’s “come back” since losing his belt to ******* and tacos, all he’s done is look good for six rounds against Plant. That’s it. Canelo still beats him

Where are Charlo and Doo Doo at? They even fight anymore? Where are they? When’s their next fight? When was their last fight? Charlo and Doo Doo are garbage. Straight garbage. So bad that Ryder would be the best win in Doo Doos resume.

9 fight having Morrell? Now I know you’re a dumbass.

Benavidez couldn’t even stop Plant and Plant made Benavidez look like an amateur for six rounds before Plant gassed. Even after Plant gassed, Benavidez still couldn’t KO him.

I actually do hope the Bivol fight doesn’t get made and Benavidez does get made. Easy win for Canelo right there.

I'm the dumbass? No, Canelo is the dumbass for rematching Bivol instead of fighting Benavidez. He would have a much greater chance of defeating David than Dmitry. He just may get stopped by Bivol from punching himself out.

As far as David Morrell is concerned; He is perhaps the more scientifically and fundamentally sound than all the fighters I've mentioned. Canelo won't fight Morrell because Morrell has that amateur pedigree of (130-2) that would fuck him up!
