There's a reason he waited until Golovkin was in his mid to late 30's before fighting him and now look at Canelo, also slowing down in his early 30's.

He's only needs to be competitive in 6 rounds of a 12 round fight and he wins. You seem to have forgotten that.

It's amazing how many guys still think an athlete, much less a boxer is prime at 35+ years old (at least when it came to Golovkin). Athletes would all rather be in their late 20's and early 30's.

Well he needs to prove it. Tell him to stop ducking Benavidez, Charlo, Andrade and Morrell.

He got hit more than usual because of styles. Ryder inches forward and jumps on you (often off a counter) to range zero and actually has speed to make this work better. These lanky guys throwing long shots are simply to lean back from, or walking forward like Benavidez. Ryder was also picking his spots, he kept fienting and throwing light shots till he got the reaction he wanted off Canelo.

You lot not giving Ryder his due credit.

After seeing how he was getting hit flush by a guy that he was supposed to walk through, Bivol eats him alive in the rematch. Anyone that says that canelo fought like that on purpose, and voluntarily took unnecessary punishment really needs to get their eyes checked. Face all marked up,no footwork, little to no head movement, and huffing fumes after a few rounds. The writing is on the walls folks, and that chin won't hold out forever.

Canelo is a f.ucking statue at this point.

he can only win if he keeps on fighting all Ryders.

                      To a cruiserweight? I don`t think so.

But he is willing to fight Canelo in lower division, isn`t he?
