There are lots and lots of stay-busy fights. If they're able the scour the globe to find a Karen,
I don't see why they can't do the same process again.

Lots of them fighters would fight Kingkong just to get back in the ring.
They need to feed their families, be able to go to a Tim Horton, fill up the refrigerator/freezer.

That's why I never understood this he's being avoided story as if Spence is the only fighter in the whole damn world.

At this point even a soda can. Just fight. If they're cans, fight one every few weeks.

Good point - they found Karen from the other end of the world. Why is it so hard to find other fighters to keep Ennis active and visible. The next Gary Russell Jr. sounds about right.

I think if Ennis can chase and beat a rabbit (Karen), then anyone who is any less stationary than Karen, gets clobbered big time. Its very hard to chase and catch a rabbit. A guy who fights like Karen, can spoil anyone's boxing. Boots not only chased him all night, he stood up in between rounds and ended the fight full of energy, breathing with his mouth closed. This is bad news for anyone else at or near his weight. It means unless u knock him cold, he's not going anywhere and will be in your face all night long. Don't count on him gassing out. He's clearly in shape for at least 15 fast rounds. Then with his versatility, u have to prepare for every shot and every angle in the book, because he can knock u out with any shot from either hand from any angle. Boots is a main event fighter and a pay per view fighter, but he needs someone with a name who'll dance with him. If not, if I were him, I'd stay very active and fight whoever will fight me for chump change. Get my record up to around 45-0, then when a name finally decides to fight him. he's already near Floyd's so called record. Stay active like the old times, don't wait around for the big names, because they're all purposely going in the opposite direction

He should have Bozy calling Stanionis' team ASAP, so that they both can fight credible opposition right now, no more waiting.

"When last seen, the switch-hitting star effortlessly boxed circles around Karen Chukhadzhian, winning every round against his overmatched foe just a few short months ago."

Uhm, I would need to rewatch the fight to be sure, but I remember the opposite. Boots was the aggressor and landed all the right shots to secure a win, but Chukhadzhian was the one "boxing circles;" he exposed Boots inability to properly cut the ring, for starters.

                    Am I misremembering here?

He could well be the next Sugar Ray Leonard. But how will we ever know if he's not fighting and all he does is wait?
