That's why it's not advisable to follow any particular fighter in this day and age of the sport.

Rumor has it that Spence vs. Crawford will be announced next weekend, at the Tank fight. Crawford said that's BS. So if Spence ain't fighting Crawford, and he fights Thurman @ 154, then the IBF will choose someone (Probably Romain Villa) to fight Boots for the IBF title! I would have the utmost respect for Spence if he chose to fight Boots, but if he chooses Thurman instead, IT'S A DUCK!!!

I pray you're right. Boots vs. Villa would be a pretty nice consolation prize, huh?

Boots vs. Stanionis would be better. I wonder if Ortiz Jr. vs. Stanionis is still going to happen? I think Vergil should just move to 154!

I was hoping Boots would have raised his hand to replace Ortiz Jr. I think Vergil has some serious questions to answer about his health. This is the second issue in a year.

It's a Golden Boy card. You're not going to see Boots vs. Stanionis, on DAZN, on a GBP card! Now if Oscar comes out and says the fight is "cancelled," and not just "postponed," then hopefully we'll see Boots vs. Stanionis on SHO! Stanionis is not ranked by the IBF, so I wonder if they would allow Stanionis to go ahead of Villa?

While Ennis appears to be talented, I fail to see a resume' of top contenders he's beaten that would catapult him to PPV status.

I thought Stanionis was a PBC fighter because he was on Twitter complaining about inactivity a few months ago.
