  • Comments Thread For: Jaron Ennis: "I Feel Like I'm Not A Co-Main Fighter Anymore"

Playing second fiddle isn't in the DNA of Jaron Ennis. While he's continued to rack up explosive victory after explosive victory, the current IBF welterweight titlist has spent his last three bouts in a supporting role. Although his career has benefited greatly, at the young age of 25, the Philadelphia native has grown tired of sharing the spotlight.

No son, you’re not pay per view. Few fighters are. Don’t get too big for your breeches too soon.

You need to just fight more, period. Inactivity is killing Boots’ momentum.

Inactivity, maybe, everyone is doing it. Soda cans, maybe, everyone is doing it. But inactivity+soda cans just don't make sense for a guy touted to become the next SRL. It's insulting to fans.

Respectfully as a fan, you are so wrong! Regular people are just barely seeing you. Remember in 2018 when you had 8 fights. Do that on shobox, Fox, and PPV this year. Go to dazn and top rank Mr. free agent. English and espn fans need to see ya too. You may be a great, but it’s way too early to tell my man.

Take it from a forum member here who said Ennis is not even recognized in his own hometown.

I'm still confused as to how a fighter has been a pro for almost a decade and hasn't fought another top 10 fighter, but thinks he's one of the best in the world.

Go headline a big arena v your usual opponents and see you many tickets you sell

That'll show you right now that you're nowhere close to being an A side headliner yet.
