I don’t understand the term “weight bully”.

Seems like a very strange new phenomenon amongst the newer fans for the most part.

Apparently Lomachenko is "too small" for 135 even though he's been there for 5 years/8 fights and was the #1 guy there for years.

    It's baffling, really.

When he was fighting at Cruiserweight, it was due to his being old and unable to make weight anymore. This guy was nearly 40. I think he was still fighting when he was 46. He was clearly smaller than those he fought with. Plus he was fighting club fighters at that time. Honestly, how can you compare a guy who's moved up in weight to compete against bigger guys to a guy who shrinks himself down?
Haney makes the weight at 135. That is all that should matter. You're crying about it because there is a substantial chance that Lomachenko can lose. So you're already making excuses. Insecurity at it's worst

If Hearns moved up from 147 to cruiserweight that means he was big at 147. He was 6-2 with a big frame. But it takes brains and objectivity to understand that.

Hearns first cruiserweight fight was in 1993. He was 35. He fought at the weight because that was the weight that he grew into. No need to lie.

Everything was skinny on Tommy. Look at his fucking legs man lol!
We're not talking about teenage Hearns in 1975. Try to keep up.

Not sure I'd call it 'bullying' but there's certainly some fighters who are able to use rehydration to come to the ring with a substantial weight advantage (yes I'm looking at you Gilberto - amongst others) - most typically it's younger guys who are able to dehyadrate and rehydrate to greater extremes whilst maintaining the ability to fight effectively. However under the current rules this is fully acceptable providing no illegal substances such as diuretics are used in the process.

I don't personally like it. I want to see fighters win based upon their will and skill and speed and stamina and ring IQ not becuse they happen to be bigger but these are the current rules and if they happen to favour younger fighters or those with a natural ability to healthily lose and replace water rapidly then so be it..

I'd still bring back same day weigh ins if it was up to me though. In fact I'd have the fighters weigh in immediately prior to fighting although I know that ain't remotely practicable.

The worst part is when people create height-classes. Apparently Fundora is a weight bully.

Yep. Apparently there are "reach" classes for fighters now too.

You're laying the foundation that you're a casual fan that knows nothing about Hearns or boxing in general.

Stick to Jake Paul. That's the extent of your knowledge.

I was watching boxing and probably competing when you weren't even swimming in your daddy's balls.

Stick to being a mouthpeice alt and sucking off Larry.
