OK, firstly, you know Vergil isn't exactly the only boxer being accused. This isn't going to destroy Vergil's career. Manny spent a whole career being suspected but never convicted of PED abuse & it didn't do him any harm. It is sad to say but PED use in boxing is now endemic. That deeply saddens me but I think the use of PEDs, rather than the internet, is why then and now is like night and day. Here is a thought, if Vergil really just wanted to shut up Cobbs & everyone else, he could submit to testing! That woulda saved him $10k on legal fees. Less bullying, less cost, what's not to like? The Benn comparison also doesn't help because almost everybody, outside Conor & his immediate circle, now tacitly accept he was caught using PEDs, he was cheating, he was as bent as a £2 note.

Butt Stuff. Look, I know boxers are, more than ever, businessmen but they are also meant to be hard men. I understand that Vergil probably doesn't want to fight Cobbs in the ring because he only fights 3 times a year, at most, & beating Cobbs won't, in any way, progress his career, but he could've offered to fight in the gym. in the UK its called a 'straightener'. If Cobbs turned it down & carried on running his mouth he would've been laughed at. Instead, by hiding behind 'my learned friends' Vergil comes over as a sad little 81tch. I bet Jaron & his team are laughing at this, because this is not the way a fighting man is supposed to act.

Meh why fight for free when you could get paid handsomely for facing the same opponent.
