Those fights happened when neither of them were big names. I'm not whining, just gave my opinion. I know that Jr. is a preety big draw but not as big as he thinks he is. If he didn't fight JMM the numbers would've never been so high, and it helps that GBP is involved anyways. The PR's are not hating on FMJ, we are just used to warriors that are willing to fight the best and challenge themselves just like Mexicans are used to also. I am certain that Cotto/Pac will outsell Jr./JMM which will prove that Jr. is not the biggest draw. Anyways, at the end of their careers people wil remember the champions that fought the best competition available and not the ones that sold the most PPV's. Cotto has faced all of the top WW's, what has Floyd done in the WW Division other than beating Baldomir and Gatti? Here you go Just pretend it's Mayweather's ****.

nice msg if your a 2 year old,why be so ignorant, cottos only ever fought at light ww and ww so of course hes fought more competion at that weight.i am a fan of cotto and i hope he beats pacman and we do get to see pbf vs cotto but dont act like a ****.trust me who ever pbf fought on his comeback fight it would of been high ppv numbers as long as they were in the pound 4 pound rankings and it was about time marquez got a big pay day and people got to see him all over the world

Over 1 million people paid 50 bucks to watch floyd fight a guy that they knew and were told didnt have a chance and it was a mismatch.

So what does that tell you about Mayweather's drawing power
Floyd can do 1 million buys drinking orange juice !!

face it,every mayweather fight genarates alot of hype and does well in ppv but that doesnt mean they all want to see him win, some pay the money just to see him loose but it hasnt happened so far.so think before you jump to conclusions.yes marquez did help the sitution but if pbf fought pac, cotto, mosley or willams he would do massive ppv numbers

I'm glad the PPV did good, but Mayweather better use these numbers in a positive way, or my feelings about this will change. I'm glad the UFC got squashed and I thought two of the three fights on the undercard were good. I used the Tecate deal as well, so I don't feel totally ripped off. I don't know when the last time I feel like I totally got my money's worth on a Floyd PPV though. I ordered his fights with Gatti and Baldomir, and now I wish I hadn't. It was pretty dramatic seeing Harris get KOd by Maussa and the Mayweather-Baldomir undercard was decent with Arreola and P-Will fighting on it. But I wish Floyd would take a tough fight. And Gatti and Baldomir didn't go on to do anything meaningful so Floyd gets nothing from me for those victories. JMM will probably go on to beat some good fighters, but he was still fighting outside of his best weight.

The truth is that Cotto/Pac already sold out the arena and will defenitely outsell this PPV by 500k at least! That will prove that Manny is a bigger attraction even though they show his fights in the Phillipines for free. Imagine if they did PPV over there! I don't care what people say, there are about 10 million mexicans living in the and I bet you they had a lot to do with that supposed 1 million sales.
wrong again manny and cotto is not sold out and if you dont belive me go onto ticketmaster and order 30 tickets and you will get them because someone pointed that out yesterday on here and i checked it out so there you go.check it for yourself

this one is, like i read on someone's post, a million buys cuase of the loyalty of MEXICANS have towards their champions.. and right now there was not a hotter mexican champion than marquez.. so floy exploited that.. like the leech he is..
