Mayweather vs Marquez Registers 1 Million Pay-Per-View Buys

The argument that Marquez sold the fight is beyond ******ed. Marquez did 1 million pay per views? Juan Manuel Marquez???? The only reason why ANY Mexicans even hopped on the bandwagon is because they wanted to see FLOYD lose. I guaruntee that most of them didn't even know who Marquez was. But you tell me who bought the PPV without knowing who Mayweather was?

I know exactly what you mean! Most people hate him sooooooooo much that they want to see him lose. I mean where are all the people before hand, that was talking that "pacquiao beat hatton and de la hoya worse than mayweather did" so that should make pacquiao worthy of a fight with mayweather or people thinking that pac might be better, lol, use that same analogy now for mayweather "he dominated marquez for 12 rounds and pac had a draw and controversial win".

Using the fact that marquez is older and a smaller man is an excuse because he asked for this fight and he knew mayweather wasnt coming down to 135 or 140, not to mention he probably thought he had an advantage over mayweather since he was out of the ring for over a year. Another thing im tired of people making it seem like he's ducking people in particular "Pac, cotto, and shane." The two fighters that did call mayweather out in the ring, after their fight (Hatton and Marquez) got there ass whopped. I never heard Cotto or Pac talk that **** about mayweather, so why are there fans? Not to mention, Mayweather called out Shane after his fight with Henry Bruseles, saying that he heard shane and de la hoya were coming back down to 147 and he would love to fight the both of them. When they went back and asked Shane would he want to fight mayweather next, he wanted to spend time with his family, and entertain the thought next year.

Damn i had my ****ing dounts about Floyd, but 1 MILLION buys.... Damn, thank you Floyd for putting boxing back on the front burner.....

I didnt think it would sell that many fights too, but as much as i like floyd i can agree with public criticism and for me to buy another PPV with him as the headline he has to fight either Pac, Shane, Cotto, Berto, P-will, even clottey but somebody thats a legitimate Welterweight.

Floyd proved the haters wrong ,,, now they try and fly with every yeah but they can dream off ,,,,, give the man some dues JMM has never drawn anything and this fight was rubbished like no other that I can remember yet it was a huge success , Floyd is back no doubt about it , he is next opponents with be Mosley Cotto or Pac unless the committed fights of all 3 get in the way as far as time goes and Floyd fights again in between , if Floyd fights another 3 or 4 times he will be the biggest PPV star in boxing history , how are the haters gunna deal with that lol .

Steroids, IMO one of the most common incorrectly used terms.

At one point many drugs now referred to as "steroids" where once legal. Many people/fighters/athletes etc used common performance enhancing drugs that you could pick up at your local GNC type stores.

The government picked up on some of these and banned them. Many fighters had used these kind of products before they where given the term "steroid". There is a difference in terms of what some used and the actual drug that you inject into yourself. Using "The cream" and popping "pills" wasn't one of them until 2005ish. Not exact but close. And I think a lot more people (fighters/athletes etc) than you think in general used these performance enhancing drugs that are now called "steroids"..

I'm sure if you do some digging on here you will find better info than I provided on this site..

Anyway yea I like all the fighters on my list and im fair and not biased. I'll talk shyt about them when shyt is needed to be talked about.

Wow thats a lot for a fight that people boycott, a fight that the media panned, a fight that they said wouldnt do much, a fight that steve kim Mayweather might not make the reported $15m because he was the lead promoter and he needs to sell more than 600K to break even......So am glad Mayweather(especially) and JMM prove most of them wrong.
