Today it's literally the opposite and it's actually sad.
Mayweather-Pacquiao era was the beginning of all this I feel. I know there’s a few past examples but they’re few and far between.

It’s awful mate, like if I grew up in the 2020’s there’s no way I’d become a boxing fan, the sport is dying.

Who ordered Tank-Garcia again? Oh that’s right, nobody, so neither had to fight each other.

They’re not comparable in the slightest.

You clearly don’t understand what you’re taking about.
Let me explain this to you for the third time. Belts aside, you either take the fight or you don't. Ryan will walk away from the fight in a few hours. Bowe walked away from the fight.

          People aren't.

My nephew and all of his friends watch the UFC, they don't watch Boxing outside of big casual fights and even then they barely show interest in that.

Whereas the UFC they watch religiously.

            “Belts aside”

Bowe and Lewis were ordered to fight.

Tank and Garcia were never ordered to fight.

Are you that dumb that you really can’t see the difference?

What made it obvious that this match-up wasn't happening in April was the Spence/Thurman announcement. Has PBC ever had two PPVs in the same month?

What does being ordered to fight have to do with actually getting in the ring? I'll wait....

Are you saying that Bowe was "fully committed"?

I honestly think it’ll end up like the WWE in a few decades. It’ll just be YouTubers, influencers etc. It’ll become whatever draws viewers rather than whatever makes sense. Companies like DAZN, Showtime would rather promote Paul vs KSI than Spence vs Crawford. The product will just continue be diluted until it becomes completely unrecognisable.

No. I thought any one of these could/would derail it:
                    1. Tank's legal issues
                    2. Garcia's mental health issues
                    3. One or both losing an interim fight
                    4. One or both getting an injury in training or an interim fight
                    5. One or both simply ducking because neither of them has ever fought a top 5 ranked opponent
                    6. PBC vs Golden Boy political BS

Fact of the matter is both guys are idiots and both guys make plenty of money fighting no-hopers.

As WBC champion you are obliged to fight your mandatory challenger you absolute moron. Bowe had to fight Lewis, so by vacating the title we realise he avoided (not backed out of) the fight.

Tank-Garcia was never ordered, so neither were obliged to fight each other and despite idiots in the media telling fools like you it was agreed it evidently wasn’t. Until a fight is signed it is not agreed when will you learn?
