Very true, very true, brother. Then they come back fighting a tuneup with instant excuse, "I had a long layoff doe." As if it's fans fault. Then they disappear after the tuneup for another year... repeat and recycle. It's terrible.

At 154 there's Charlo vs Tszyu which will be good and entertaining. But of course it's not till next year.

That fight should've closed the year. Jermell has been fighting once a year recently: Rosario (2020), Castano (2021, 2022).

I agree. There's no reason why that fight couldn't happened this year.

We also could have had Crawford-Spence, Fury-Joshua, and Tank-Garcia to close out 2022. How awesome would that have been?

But no sport shoots itself in the foot more than boxing.

...unless Showtime didn't have the budget. I've been very surprised that SHO hasn't tried making Jermell a PPV attraction because the Undisputed fight was a prime opportunity. I assume that the 2020 Twin Charlo PPV experiment didn't go well.

Continue hyping those bumbling stumbling fighting 10x a year goofs all you want.
All a person has to do is WATCH them fight to SEE just how inferior those fighters were.

''At least they had the ballz to fight 20+ rds !!''

I would call what they did after the 12th rd ''fighting''.

And MFers sucking Langfords nutz of because of the stories

            Pure slop

First off, F MMGhey. They aren’t remotely the same thing and it does nothing for me.

secondly I agree boxing is crap right now. This year has been terrible, especially the 2nd half. I have no interest in anything the rest of the year.

The sport isnt going anywhere but I dont think it'll ever again reach the popularity it once had either.

Top boxers and promoters are overpaid. They don't need to work as hard these days.

Its the most exciting it has ever been with Jake Paul. Traditional boxing is over because it is boring. Once Jake beats Canelo the takeover will be official.
