Boxing is so dead

The issue now a days is that there are not many outlets that you can watch boxing especially for free. Almost everything is based on an app or cable service.
There are no more fights in the Spanish channels in the US that were abundant years back, no more TBS Tuesday night fights, ESPN Friday night fights, the demise of HBO, etc.
You can't even see the progress of some fighters unless it is in Showbox or some star that they stick in the big undercards.
Now more than ever the promoters are lined up with Networks making a lot of fights difficult to make.

Canelo, AJ and Fury are a significant step down from Floyd and Pac, especially if we are talking about the US market and PPV.

This need for fighters today, with 2-day weigh-ins and supposed superior nutrition and sports training needing six to 9 months to recover after a grueling 12-round contest? The cats back in the 70's, 80's and 90's fought three to 4 times per year, 5 times in a few high profile cases.

Can't get with the MMG. I don't fool with no Osca-Meya-Weenah.
The Boxing's Dead thing is dead. Its still the combat sport favored by straight people.

In a series that charts the growth of today’s sporting markets, boxing came second, thanks largely to a boost in interest and an engagement among young adults who are increasingly following the sport in large numbers.
