Ha whatever "facts" you put up are no better than facts to the contrary. You can skew the main topic of this thread with irrelevance till the cows come home the thread starter has a legit claim that people all over the world have the same sentiment when it comes to Floyd cherrypicking.

The bottom line is, there isn't a short, short armed, flat flooted, come forward fighter that Floyd didn't avoid at welterweight. Ortiz, Guerrero, Madonna 2x. The list goes on and on. He cherrypicked Andre Berto from the shot c fighters p4p list. People gave you names, dates, facts, figures, etc. It isn't our problem that you still want to hug his nuts.

He totally avoided Margarito and Williams, backed out of a fight with a longer guy Winky Wright, and you can't deny it. So you change the subject to something that Floyd can handle. Fighters who weighed 10lbs more than Floyd on fight night who pose a 20% risk. Wash, rinse, repeat with a 120 lb kickboxer.

Floyd could fight a high school cheerleader and you would defend it with a video from 2006.

Here you go on a left-field rant again lol. All because you can deny these basic facts so you try and go anywhere so long its away from the the raw facts.

Manny walked in 2010 because he didn't want random unannounced blood testing, the exact same testing Manny forced on Rios, random with no cut of dates.

Floyd was still at the table agreeing to everything Manny wanted 50/50 purse split, 10 million weight forfeit, he did not agree to Manny's request to be told when testers were coming and no cut date, Manny walked.

When the fight was made, it was through Floyd's efforts in approaching Manny in person that got the fight made, Floyd had approached Manny personally 3 times and offered him twice his biggest purse Manny refused, at no time over many years did Manny ever lift a finger to reach out to Floyd personally, all Manny did was talk to the media.

Freddie Roach said publicly it was their fault that the fight did not get made in 2010.

The blueprint to duck was already set.......

In 2005, Mayweather called out Winky Wright, the lineal and formerly undisputed 154lbs title holder who had just beaten Felix Trinidad at 160lbs and could point to two wins over Mosely. Wright agreed and within days had his team in the Top Rank (Floyd's promoters at the time) offices hammering out the details.

The details were hammered out: the bout would be at 154lbs but weigh-ins would be the morning of the bout rather than the day before and Wright would not be allowed to gain more than eight pounds between weighing in and the start of the contest. But Mayweather and Bob Arum suddenly pulled out, demanding changes to the purse-split and other such things until the bout was dead in the water.

Mayweather was brave to challenge the naturally larger Wright, a man basically in his prime and with a style that would have been awkward for Mayweather. But when you call someone out and agree all of the details, why then suddenly pull out and take on Sharmba Mitchell instead? That's ducking. Whether it was Arum or Mayweather who pulled the plug (Wright's promoter Shaw has blamed both Arum and Mayweather, depending on who was asking) it doesn't matter; it was a duck.

Floyd m.o. act like you want the fight. Go thru the motions, then suddenly pull out at the 11th hour.

Floyd Mayweather never fought a boxer unless he had a reach advantage. He said there was no blueprint to beat him. That was because the blueprint was in his head and he was the only one who knew it. He was always one step ahead of his opponents. Mayweather was a master strategist. He knew how to read his opponents and how to counter their every move. He was always in control of the fight.

Genius move. Limit all risk at all possible costs. He certainly had styles like Maidana that gave him trouble, hence the paid glove changes. I would have liked to see him against a prime Paul Williams or Margarito.

Cant find the weights you quoted? why do haters bounce like a ball from one place to the next every gate that closes in their face they find another out back to go with.

If you go through his resume rationally and then say he took no risks you don't know what you're talking about, especially when they say he took no risks and Manny did which just fanboy BS, you cannot fight at the level he did give up lots of weight and not have risks.
