    Chickenweather only fought smaller opponents

even Canelo had to be drained, zombified and weakened so he could beat on him with ease

Did De la Hoya not have physical advantages over Floyd? Canelo? Chico? Zab? Hell, Maidana had size, power and a ref that allowed him to fight dirty.

What kind of physical advantages are we talking about?

Should've done it then, but he avoided it at all costs. Unfortunately mythical wins aren't real.

I'm tired of people acting like Khan had a chance against Floyd.

Hot take: Khan only got hype around him because British boxing was at a low point at the time he won an Olympic medal, with the retirement of Lewis and Hamed getting embarrassed by Barrera, and Brits were desperate to have ANYONE to get behind.

It’s called weight class, not height/reach class. Even in first 2 weight classes, he was still heavily outweighed by guys like Corrales and Castillo. Can you picture any 130lber today having success at 147 like Floyd did?

Floyd managed to avoid guys in his weight class who had a height/reach advantage on him.

The most obvious being Williams and Margarito, and you can throw Khan in there as well

Oscar was a much bigger fish to catch and Floyd was also buying his own contract out, it easy to create a should have for people that weren't there, Margarito had 5 losses not the type of profile up and coming superstars look for, boxing is business and fights must be good for business or they don't happen, you're right mythical fights arent real and neither is fans opinions that have their own agenda. Floyd beat two guys that beat Margarito one of them slept him.

The world wanted the fight. It was being demanded. It was Floyd's biggest payday. He refused to take it.

I respect Floyd, he is certainly one of the greatest defensive boxers of all time... But he ducked that fight as blatently as anyone has ducked a fight.

I wish he just cemented his legacy, but instead he's hoping people like you and time will help forget. He's probably right.

The world that's a hell of a statement, often a fans world is so small it doesn't go beyond what only he sees.

He wanted Oscar that was his biggest payday, and he knew it was the ticket to untold riches, beating a guy with 5 losses is not how the top guys operate when they on the verge of breaking out. Youre allowed your opinion I look at things like this in a much wider light as fans call duck anytime a guy doesn't fight who they think he should, and that's generally based on media not actually inside facts.

Manny was offered his biggest purse by Floyd and refused was that a duck, or did he figure he could get more going another way, this happens all the time in boxing, TC just did it, Mosley did with Floyd, Cotto did with Floyd, its and endless list of fights that didn't happen that were business driven .
