Nah, Joshua doesn’t need to fight Ortiz. Luis is a shot fighter now who needs to retire.

Andy Ruiz should have stopped him in their last fight but strangely he decided to carry him.

Both King Kong’s legs and punch resistance are gone.

      It’s called getting old man!

Also, when you factor in that they turn professional very late in their careers trying to flee their country.

So all this grandstanding will just be that -- grandstanding. Nothing more, nothing less. There are more interesting fights out there than another Ortiz fight.

He will most likely be frozen out and forced to retire.
He will become a journeyman status for young and up and coming heavyweight prospects because his skills have badly diminished.

He is a gatekeeper status now. His body is beginning to show signs of an aging fighter.

He is a washed out fighter at the present moment. Very sadly and unfortunately he is going to be used as a stepping stone for the younger heavyweight prospects coming up.

I wish that he would retire but he can’t because he needs the money.
Why does he need the money ?

It’s not his skills that have diminished. He can still box. He proved that vs Ruiz, who he won rds against.

What is shot is his punch resistance and his legs. It’ll be hard for him to win any fights vs top tier heavyweights because he gets knocked down too easily and then he’s down on the scorecards. So far, he can recover quite well from being hurt. It’s just that his legs give out from underneath him for a few seconds.

It doesn’t really have anything to do with his skill level. He’s still more skilled than most heavyweights. It’s just a matter of him being old!

He’ll never win a championship though and will probably never get another chance to.

Because he just took a loss and Fury would be all over it now unlike when Fury said he was to dangerous to fight a year or so ago .

Again, not saying I want to see the fight, but saying saying the angle it could be sold from. He's still top 10 and so is Joshua so not an out of the world possibility. I like you, have no interest in watching Ortiz fight anyone again.
