What are you even talking about? Ortiz ducked his mandatory Hrgovic.
Who doesn't want a shot at Fury and Joshua, two of the biggest sweepstake prices?
Chisora wants them, Joyce, Dubois, Wallin, Whyte, almost every HW known to man.
What makes Luis so different when the main objective is to cash out. What is so special about that?

Fair points. But what is most likely to happen is Luis Ortiz will just be ignored by almost every HW because there is nothing there for them in a Luis fight, especially when he lost his last fight and didn't perform well. So all this grandstanding will just be that -- grandstanding. Nothing more, nothing less. There are more interesting fights out there than another Ortiz fight.

He will most likely be frozen out and forced to retire.

Ortiz may be looking for one last paycheck, but I am afraid age has gotten the better of him and it showed in his last two fights. He should fight Arreola or Takam or Pulev but not a younger top 10 guy.

I think it is mostly because they have no real fan base so there is no way for them to make money fighting nobodies.

I was just going to post that nobody wants this and I saw your post. You really want to see Ortiz fight AJ?

Frank Warren would be glad to have Ortiz for his other HW fighters.
Team Ortiz should aim for 2 fights next year to maximize the earnings.
With his age, time is not on their side, so they have to move quickly.
Forget fights that can't be made.

Poor Ortiz isn’t understanding people call him old because he is old.

For a man his age though, King Kong does bring it. His Punch Resistance is definitely waning, but he’s still entertaining to watch. I think Joshua and Fury are out of his reach at this point in his career. Wilder will likely be the best name on the resume.

                    Financially, I get it.

For Ortiz. Not for Fury or Joshua.

A few years ago he made sense but didn't take the big money fights. Now he won't get them.

He's still got earning power, just not at that level.
