Floyd was skilled and very quick for the division but he was just too small for Liston and not enough of anything for Ali. Today he'd be a good light heavy.

Fair point. A shut out is maybe stretching it.

        Floyd was the best! TBE

He found a way to keep winning after ****in his hands up, completely switched up his style. He always stayed DISCIPLINED unlike these other losers who make excuses and party all the time, chumps like BRONER.

Floyd is TBE. He had an amazing resume and was always composed and concentrated on his career. Fuvk everyone who hates on Floyd, if you do, you just dont appreciate greatness

I liked him better as Pretty Boy Floyd. He was a ATG then.

Yeah I agree with ESPN and they ranked him #1 fighter of the last 25 years. And this was like 3 years ago.

He made some fighters look bad, who weren't that good, baldomir, ortiz. He made maidena look better than he was, and pac made people conclude floyd looked shot.
How good was floyd, or how great you mean?. Well he was great, top 30 maybe? Only 30 fighters greater.

Defensively he's in the top 5 ATG. The dude was nearly impossible to hit cleanly.

Offensively he was good at 130-140 but lacked power at 147 which is where he spent most of his latter career.
