Bivol or Beterbiev? Who gives Canelo the tougher fight and why?

Yes but being favourite against someone as talented as bivol and not because you draining them, and not because they're green and young kid, is a big deal.
You wonder if nelo was favourite against beterbiev would people expect only viable opponent would be usyk at cruiserweight. Or just make nelo goat and he don't have to fight.
Nelo was underdog v GGG, but now is favourite at 175? Wasn't GGG old? Some fighters at tail end of career refuse to fight people they're not favourite to beat.

Didnt nelo fight GGG when GGG was still No1? Nelo waited until GGG was old, but GGG was still No1 and favourite. Beterbiev will be favourite against nelo so does it matter if nelo fights beterbiev in 1 years time?

Bivol is the better boxer, Beterbiev is more physically overpowering and heavy handed. I'd probably give the edge to Beterbiev but they're both good opponents who pose a threat.

This is essentially where I'm at. Bivol has nice movement, decent had speed and can put punches together. He's been dominant in every fight that I can recall. He's admitted to being buzzed by both Pascal and Smith near the ends of the fights.

Beterbiev is also skilled and an underrated boxer, he uses those skills to break his opponent down. He hits hard but the hand and foot speed aren't that great. His technique and timing allow him to compensate for slowing down.

I just don't see what others do with Beterbiev to the point I feel I am watching a different fighter or something but I could absolutely guarantee if Canelo was fighting instead of Bivol he'd get no credit and Bivol would suddenly be the one.

Beterbiev is the most dangerous fight for Canelo. Jab merchants who fight to survive aren't real threats for Nelo. Bivol will get crushed second part of the fight. Bivol is stiff, predictable opponent. Predictable 1-2 combos, mediocre punch power, lacks of brawling ability inside, su****ious chin etc..

Beterbiev is dog. Brawling, pressure, huge punch power are real problematic attributes for Nelo 2.0. I can hype Beterbiev bcs he is real deal.

So Bivol has a su****ious chin but Beterbiev who has been put on his ass on more than one occasion by bums doesn't?

I just do not see it stylistically. I think what Floyd said about GGG sums Beterbiev up perfectly ''straight up and down, no special effects.''.
I really believe GGG is a more difficult fight.

I see what he does well but he has really slow feet, slow hands plodding forward with an incredibly wide guard and no head movement. Canelo will punch straight through that non existent guard.
Rarely if at all ever jabs his way in or throws a faint.
Just not for the life of me seeing how he isn't made to order.
I don't think its even competitive at all outside of Canelo gassing late on if Beterbiev aged 40 can keep the pressure up and weather all the shots he'd be eating.

I think the guys just too slow to lay a damn glove on Canelo tbh. For me its just a repeat of the Angulo fight granted he is bigger, stronger, better than Angulo.

I want to see the fight just because so many are saying the guy beats him but I can't see it. I like too keep an open mind and look at other peoples predictions and assessments even if I think they're wrong or even crazy but just to see where they're coming from but with this I feel its something Beterbiev just has to show me, words and breaking it down just don't do it. I see nothing but Beterbiev getting battered from pillar to post.
It feels a bit wrong to say it he is a top LHW stylistically though I only see a mismatch. Pressure fighters never fare well against Mexican counter-punchers. You don't beat them by pressuring them. No pressure fighter has had any success against Canelo at all, ever.

I'm sorry but this guy isn't the one to do it.

Even his physical attributes and heavy handedness just doesn't sell it to me.
His power seems overrated to me like really overrated even if he does have a 100% K.O ratio. He's certainly heavy handed but he wears opponents down via his pressure and workrate more than anything. He doesn't have one punch power like the hype would suggest. I'm not sure I'd give him a punchers chance like a good chance. Too slow, no snap on his shots. Predictable - lack of set ups and a rather limited punch selection tbh, you can see his shots coming a mile away.
