Ftr that Deines guy is awful and in horrible shape he could easily lose 7lbs of fat and make SMW.
Still he went 10 rounds and was competitive.

Can you imagine that guy being competitive with Canelo?

Genuinely would that guy even beat a Rocky Fielding?

Neither! Bivol can't hit and Beterbiev is too old and easy to hit.

Sadly this is the closest to what I believe also. I’m cndn, but I see Beterbiev for what he is.
The biggest risk to Canelo is that he’s due to lose at some point, or have a bad night.
For Bivol to win Canelo would need to start slow, while Bivol wins the early feel out rounds, even if it’s only by a jab or two. Then he if can even just split the rest of the fight or even keep it close he could win the fight by a point or so even if he suffers the worse damage. Winning a round by one jab is worth the same on the cards as winning a round by sometimes twenty punches.
Beterbiev gets cut. He can be hit. He starts slow. He’s tough and keeps coming. He finishes a combo with a punch to the body sometimes. That’s good. He’d have to start fast and land a bit all night to accumulate damage in Canelo and maybe cut him and out attrition him. Still he’s older now. He leans over his feet sometimes. Might just not be able to get to Canelo enough. On the other hand twelve tounds is a long time to survive against Nelo. Once your body is pounded and you start to flinch into his uppercuts…

I just do not see it stylistically. I think what Floyd said about GGG sums Beterbiev up perfectly ''straight up and down, no special effects.''.
I really believe GGG is a more difficult fight.

I see what he does well but he has really slow feet, slow hands plodding forward with an incredibly wide guard and no head movement. Canelo will punch straight through that non existent guard.
Rarely if at all ever jabs his way in or throws a faint.
Just not for the life of me seeing how he isn't made to order.
I don't think its even competitive at all outside of Canelo gassing late on if Beterbiev aged 40 can keep the pressure up and weather all the shots he'd be eating.

I think the guys just too slow to lay a damn glove on Canelo tbh. For me its just a repeat of the Angulo fight granted he is bigger, stronger, better than Angulo.

I want to see the fight just because so many are saying the guy beats him but I can't see it. I like too keep an open mind and look at other peoples predictions and assessments even if I think they're wrong or even crazy but just to see where they're coming from but with this I feel its something Beterbiev just has to show me, words and breaking it down just don't do it. I see nothing but Beterbiev getting battered from pillar to post.
It feels a bit wrong to say it he is a top LHW stylistically though I only see a mismatch. Pressure fighters never fare well against Mexican counter-punchers. You don't beat them by pressuring them. No pressure fighter has had any success against Canelo at all, ever.
Golovkin (First bout), Jacobs, Liam Smith, Austin Trout were competitive against Canelo because they pressured him. How did Jacobs win five rounds for two judges? Why people think Golovkin won the first fight? Why Liam Smith fight was closer than it should be? Why Austin Trout fight was competitive later rounds? Pressure style is successful against Canelo. Canelo hasn't very effective punches at his back foot. He can't sit down at his punches. Just look at GGG's face after fight 1 and 2.

There is only one way to beat Nelo 2.0. Make him at his back foot with respected punch power, outwork him by high output, stamina and brawling inside. Beterbiev is not as technical as GGG but still great fighter. He has solid amateur background.

Fighters like Bivol could be competitive first 3-4 rounds, then, get smashed. Jabs are massage for Nelo.

Solid take. I still think Canelo eats pressure fighters at this stage of his career but I see now why you think Beterbiev beats him. Thank you. Hopefully he fights him next year.

Beterbiev would kill anyone on the ring at this stage, unless a fluke happens and that fluke isn't a midget CVS man!

Since when does Canelo start to fight immediately ?
Did you see him againsr Kovi , who imo was already washed up , Canelo was as tentative and scared to get hit as far as the 9 rounds he carried Kovi
Pretty damn sure Beterbiev hits way harder than Kovi , don’t think so , ok then accumulative cause he ain’t throwing one punch at a time
                  Survive against Canelo ?
We are not talking Smith , Plant or Kovi here

There’s a reason why he won’t fight him , he knows what the end result will be
So as usual , the cash cow will wait and wait some more until the fight means nothing unless your a nuthugger

After all those years , 7 to be exact , did Floyd vs Pac really get you excited ?

                  Rinse repeat same chit here

Beterbiev is dog. Need a brawler dog to beat Canelo.
Canelo got 1 loss and it didnt come from a brawler.

Even the fights canelo won controversially like lara and ggg 1 were fights where he was getting outboxed not out brawled.

Skills beat canelo. Not a face first puncher.

Beterbiev is a knockout waiting to happen

After being put on his azz , Beterbiev got up and knocked his opponent the fugh out
You one of those guys who believes his fighter is done if he loses his O
I stopped reading your shenanigans after that first line
Just another nuthugger , instead of Canelo it’s Floyd
