Bivol is the better boxer, Beterbiev is more physically overpowering and heavy handed. I'd probably give the edge to Beterbiev but they're both good opponents who pose a threat.

      Pretty much this.

Fair assessment. I personally don’t see Canelo losing to someone more physically powerful. He simply saps away that power with those counter left hook body shots. His rematch with GGG is the best example of this. In my opinion, you have to box Canelo up. His biggest flaw is his inability to cut the ring off and flat feet. Easier said than done of course.

Beterbiev is dog. Need a brawler dog to beat Canelo.

Show me one fight where Canelo cut the ring off masterfully. Just one. He’s my favorite fighter right now and I’ll be the first to tell you that he’s horrible at it. He follows his opponents around. His extraordinary upper waist movement is how he’s able to close the distance.

Callum Smith, Rocky Fielding, Caleb Plant etc.. Do you even watch Canelo's trainings and fights? He is ring cutter, pressure counter-puncher "at his front foot". He is not swarmer but still pressure fighter. How does he beat "much taller" opponents than himself otherwise?

Doesn't matter if he don't fight beterbiev now, he will likely fight him in future when beterbiev is still No1.
Didnt nelo fight GGG when GGG was still No1? Nelo waited until GGG was old, but GGG was still No1 and favourite. Beterbiev will be favourite against nelo so does it matter if nelo fights beterbiev in 1 years time?
Its what you do over a career

Is this even a question ? Beterbiev would smash Canelo and Bivol to bits, this is no Callbum or Plant but an oldschool Chechen warrior.

Canelo would be underdog against Beterbiev. He is heavy favourite against Bivol. Do math.

Beterbiev, Canelo will have to do things that he don't normally do against this type of fighter. Bivol is bigger but Canelo cut down movers and jabbers, they have not figure a way to keep him off. He learned a lot in the Floyd fight.
