You actually thought that through before posting? Yeah, Thurman is gonna come back from surgeries and a three year lay off makes literally no sense at all. Like not in anyway shape or form…hell even the Keith haters can’t bash him for his first fight back…after three damn heads

Porters opinion just isn’t an opinion. ITS A FACT. I like the kid. I think he’s a very promising PROSPECT but he hasn’t met ADVERSITY yet. Until he does. He’s just a prospect or a CORPORATE BOXER like the Charlos.

Nah, he was a beaten man and he’s fought the two best he could. Porter is done, his style doesn’t age well and the chin goes soon too. They moved smart saw nothing was left and called it a day. If anything he deserves respect for knowing when to call it a day, too many don’t.

People don't understand what overrated means. He's not saying he's overrated skill wise or anything like that he's saying he's overrated by the fans as of now because he is still unproven so the people who are saying he would beat a spence or a Crawford right now are going overboard in his opinion. I even saw a crazy tweet the other day where someone said he'd beat canelo. It's like Mike Tyson was overrated back in the day not that he wasn't a talented fighter he was but people was saying he couldn't be beat in any form of combat people always go overboard

Why is this even a controversy? None of the title contenders at 147 save for perhaps Yordenis Ugas are going to fight him anyhow; That's including Keith Thurman as well. Both Crawford and Spence are going to duck this young hungry lion because he's too risky. i don't blame them. They have nothing to prove against him.

This is why context matters people. I definitely said he should fight him 8f overrated but he's spot on. Boots, Ortiz etc looks the real deal but until they're in there with top 5-6 guys we don't know.

Funny thing is, Porter and Danny Garcia would be the perfect two to show us where Boots and Ortiz are.

Outside of hard-core boxing fans Ennis is a unknown, he will have to earn the right to fight the champs, raise his profile, I still can't see those fights happening, he will probable pick up a vacated belt without fighting. One thing is for sure in my opinion he won't be at 147 for long.
