Looking at the picture of boots I'm wondering how he makes 147?, is he dare I say a weight bully?

    Looks 185 in this picture.

Yes, we need to actually see the fights happen before crowning him. But that's hard to do when no big name will step up against him.

If you want to talk about overrated and overhyped then take a look at Conor Benn.

He's weight draining and weakening himself? And still looking this impressive? Damn, that's scary.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and different people have different takes on things. My take on the situation, and this won't be popular with many people on here but I see Boots or Ortiz beating Crawford and Spence, I said it, and needs to be said, especially Spence, he's coming off an injury, already was struggling to make 147 before all this, and Crawford, well, people dwell on him winning multiple titles, ect, etc, but I ask, who has he fought that real poses danger and power? Not only that, who has he faced that was as big as these 2. The answer is nobody, and either one is a very, very live dog if they ever get the chance.

In 2020, Porter chose to fight 22-0 Sebastian Formella, rather than 25-0 Boots Ennis! Why? This is what bothers me about guys like Thurman and Porter! Other than being corny as f--k, they say ****** things like "I don't know who Boots is, " "Boots is overrated," but they'll fight Mario Barrios and Sebastian Formella! Thurman had just as much hype, when he hadn't done a damn thing, and Shawn Porter came into the game with a lot of hype, even more than Boots, and he hadn't done Jack! Now they hand Porter a microphone, and he has the nerve to call this kid "Overrated!" F--k Shawn Porter! Mama said "Never throw a stone and hide your hand!"

I get it, and actually it helps Ennis. If the hype stays they'll do the same thing they do to other great Black fighters and downplay any fight he gets and call it a cherrypick

That phrase is unacceptable in boxing when Fondura is a 6'6 154lber, Josh Taylor is 5'10 140, and Fury routinely outweighs his opponents by 50lbs

This comment right here trumps them all and is complete facts. It's easy to tell the microphone that Boots is over rated but avoid the fight with him when the opportunity is there. Porter is retired cool... he is entitled to his opinion cool.... he gave the shot to Formella who nobody gave a chance and Thurman gave Barrios the shot who just lost to a 135 guy. I understand high risk low reward and taking the easier fight but dont knock Boots because he shows everytime out he is a monster. Every time Boots fights its gonna be his toughest test and every time he destroys the competition SOMEBODY NEEDS TO STEP UP AND GIVE THIS KID HIS SHOT. I know who I'll put my money on.

If that's what Boots looks like weight drained and weak everybody better worry at 154 and 160. Boots is the future P4P #1 and people cant stand it apparently
