facts, that's the big reason canelo needs to fight beterbiev and Bivol, not to win over fans, not to make the haters happy, but because when Bud beats Spence and becomes undisputed in 2 weight classes he'll be the clear p4p king

Well I do not see them. You are an anomaly. Boxing fans are notoriously and extremely petty towards fighters they don’t like.

I absolutely believe Canelo vs Beterbiev has a high chance of happening in 2022. If he does not fight Beterbiev next year, I can’t support that. He has to do it imo, as a fan of both. Bivol would also be nice. I admit Canelo-Benavidez does nothing for me, yet.

But if Canelo fights Beterbiev next year, unfortunately Canelo critics will turn Beterbiev in to a slow, past prime fighter who Canelo is cherrypicking. Soon as the fight becomes official.

It’s just not in many boxing fan’s nature to give credit where credit is due for boxers they don’t like.

True not much credit will be given to canelo but I give him props if he beats Beterbiev. Beterbiev is no joke, the guy is relentless.

Now if Canelo loses, I would imagine the Canelo fans will say “Canelo was burnt out by unifying 168 and fighting 3 times a year hurt him” or “Beterbiev is a great fighter and no shame in losing to him Canelo” even though for years they said Beterbiev was nothing

like you said us boxing fans are the worst fans in sports

pretty much got the answer when he fought jacobs, he looked less than impressive and sc****d a win by 1 round. that was a really terrible fight, canelo barely landed anything clean all fight.

Was a tight fight before the KO, scorecards were also close.

                that wasn’t a shot fighter.

Kovalev barely threw any hard punch.

You chose, he was completely shot or was he paid to get beaten and take a dive.
