Marquez is a live dog in this fight.
Well, I guess I would ask when Floyd did not win impressively when he fought in his weight class.

Corley - knocked him down twice and dominated
Bruseles- stopped him (while providing SuperBowl commentary)
    Gatti- - no comment necessary
Sharmba - stopped him in six
Judah - decisive decision. Swept the last 7/8 rounds
Hatton - dominated him second half, and KO'd him.

Guys I don't consider in FMJ's weight class: Oscar, Baldomir.

FYI: Marquez by decision over a rusty Floyd.

Did you consider Gatti a warrior?

I am NOT comparing their skill level. But Gatti was a lot bigger and stronger than JMM.

yes it is eveything JMM can do May does it better plus he has almost 5 inches arm length on Pac . he is going to counter Pac all day . Wacth May old fights he can fight just like JMM BUT BETTER. have you wacth any of May old fights?. it will take a skill boxer to beating May not a come foward only type boxer like Pac. JMM has a better chasne of beat May then Pac BECAUES OF HIS SKILL

I actually think Cotto and Margarito are overrated and I can't stand Floyd at the same time. Both of those guys should have losses to Mosley on their record, it's just that Mosley was robbed against Cotto and we would've gotten a Mosley-Mayweather fight probably if that decision had been rightfully awarded to Mosley. Because Shane had the balls to call him out unlike Cotto did. I also believe that JMM is a tougher fight for Mayweather than Cotto and Margarito. Cotto has skills, but his horrible defensive flaws like leaving himself open to uppercuts and having bad stamina overshadow that. The only possible way that Margarito could be competitive with Floyd is if Mayweather hurt his hand early in the fight (like Clottey supposedly did) and couldn't throw any punches. The fact that JMM does not gas out late and has better boxing skills than Cotto is the reason why I think he is a tougher fight for Floyd than Cotto is.

I don't think that JMM is as qualified for the job as Mosley and Williams, but what I like about the fight is Mayweather will get his face rubbed in the dirt more if he happens to lose to a 36 year-old guy that started out his career at Featherweight. I think people will be suprised with JMM's punching power. Those KOs on his record are there for a reason. Diaz and Casamayor had never been stopped, and I even question whether or not Floyd could've put them away in the same fashion that JMM did even though I think he would beat both of them.

                Quick question.

How about when FMJ fought Oscar at 154, and he couldn't even make 154 at the weigh-in or on fight night.

How much of a disadvantage were the sixteen pounds he gave away? Or was that not a disadvantage?
First I would like to give my 2 cents about the post you did of the hypocrisy of us fans who agreed with Oscar. You mentioned B-Hop-Pavlik, great point. Nobody before the fight was saying that B-Hop has to KO Pavlik. And, is a fact that after the fight including me was calling B-Hop ATG. But, I want to counter that by saying. B-Hop was an underdog going into the fight was he not? That is the difference. While PBF is the somewhat of a overwhelming favorite against JMM. Remember after the fight B-Hop stared at the media with a teary eye. Cuz most of the media and a lot fans did not give him a chance. I think thats the difference. I don't think I am being hypocritical at all.

Now on to you question. Here is the think true in the weigh in Oscar weight 154 and PBF weight 150. Now you saying there was 16lbs disadvantage is that a fact? I don't remember HBO showing what the unofficial weight was. So I don't know how much Oscar put on or how much PBF put on.

Also going into that fight to me PBF was in his prime while Oscar was way passed it. I felt Oscar was more of a promoter than a fighter at that time.

If Oscar did outweight Floyd by 16lbs then IMO that would be a disadvantage for Oscar cuz he would lose the speed to match PBF don't you agree? I know you will disagree but that's my opinion. Is ok you can call me a PBF hater.

But, I think your point is that weight dosen't matter and I respect your opinion. But, I will just disagree. So you trying to make it as PBF is not that big and he beaten bigger ppl. However, before that Oscar fight PBF dominated 3 fights a weight-class below. While JMM had problem in his 2 fights 2 weightclasses below. I honestly think whoever thinks the weight is not a big deal is not looking at it clearly. Now saying all that I still think is a tougher fight than most think. And, I give JMM a great chance on pulling the upset.

By saying Mayweather has to win is discrediting Marquez, and as his promoter De La Hoya shouldn't do that. Marquez is a great fighter and a win is a win over him.

So if JMM plans on weighing in @ 142 by fight night he will be roughly 150 so the weight will be even at least. Maybe you would have a point if you said the extra weight will make JMM even slower. But even if they fought when Floyd was 130 or 135, Jr. still waxes his ass...
Mayweather weight in at 150 for Oscar and I doubt he lossed a pound overnight instead of gaining weight. So saying the most PBF has come in to a fight is 149 is not true. Floyd walks around at 153-156 while JMM walks around 145-148. And, here is a question like you said if PBF walks around at 150 couldn't he still make 140? Or, why not have the catch-weight at 142? It shouldn't be that much trouble if walking around 150.
