didnt say Cotto would beat May but it woulds be a harder fight for him then Pac.

What does it say that Jermain could knock down Kelly, but Hopkins could not?

      2) Clottey is one of the more respected fighters on this board. How many of you lost respect for Clottey when Diego Corrales moves up two full weight divisions to fight Clottey? And keep in mind, Josh may be the biggest WW out there, having come into the ring as high as 170?
...and how do we know that Diego Corrales can be stopped? Because Mayweather knocked him down five times en route to a 10th round stoppage.

What does it say that Floyd could stop Chico, but Clottey could not?

This is boxing, gentlemen. It doesn't work that way.
All around nice post.. Haters always have double standards when it comes to FMJ..

Is like having Cotto fighting at Middleweight. Or, Pavlik walks around in the 170's it has been proving that him fighting above 160 he is not the same.
        J-Ro,

        Quick question.

How about when FMJ fought Oscar at 154, and he couldn't even make 154 at the weigh-in or on fight night.

How much of a disadvantage were the sixteen pounds he gave away? Or was that not a disadvantage?

Yeah he will stand up to his punches like Gatti. But just like McGirt, Nacho will throw in the towel.

Don't think so. Pac, Cotto, Margarito....all better equipped to beat Floyd than Marquez...although Marquez is always game.

Its redicules to say he must win by KO when Pac could not with the same weight advantage just a few pounds ,,,,, but guess what I think Floyd will stop him , people that say Floyd is to defensive are looking at only 2 fights in his entire career and he gave big weight to them and they had iron chins , Floyd has a great stoppage percentage with anybody near his true size . this he dont punch

Floyd only needs to win clearly and if he makes a big statement and gets a KO well thats something nobody else has done including Pac , but he dont have to thats just another ****** Floyd only rule . .

Mayweather has to impress and win by UD or late stoppage, and not be hurt in the fight. He needs to win in an impressive fashion to remember people he is/was the best P4P in the world. Not necessarly win by TKO, but it would help.
Marquez is a live dog in this fight.

No that is not really an answer cuz styles makes fights. So I will ask again how is JMM a tougher fight for Floyd?
