Think so? Even after trying to get the corner to stop it?

Na Loma's not a finisher, never has been. He can land that 1 accurate punch that takes you out, but he's not heavy handed the way Tank, Terence, Wilder are. If you beat the count against Loma good chance you make it out of the round. Pedraza, Campbell, even a lotta fighters at 130 I can't remember.

Loma can do what he wants in the ring against people that much less talented

Yes, that was obvious to everyone watching. The question that many of us seem to be asking is, why did he do that? It happened twice in that round. First he dropped Commey hard and once Commey got up Loma wasted time by talking to Commey’s cornermen. The corner refused to throw in the towel and so Loma resumed attacking, hurting Commey again and RC did a weird backwards dance as though his knees were buckling. Then what does Loma do, again? He stops attacking and looks to Commey’s corner AGAIN, asking them to stop the fight. Really he had two great opportunities to KO Commey in that round. I have a few theories why he may have done what he did but I don’t really know the answer. If he was showing empathy for Commey, I can appreciate that as a human being but I’m not sure that is the smartest attitude to have as a fighter, especially as an aging fighter, competing against younger, bigger, stronger guys. I think he may have felt that he was winning so handily that there was no urgency in getting the stoppage. He felt that the fight had already been won….., but in boxing that’s a dangerous assumption!

I thought he fought great but at 135 don't think he's heavy handed enough to stop a lot of these guys, even Commey

It not about 1 punch power..he stunned him a few times and all he had to do was press him and he could have stopped him

*** him and the cringe worthy humility bullsht during battles. At that point I wanted him to get KTFO like Nate Campbell. One of my bets were Loma by KO between 7-9 and this clown ass elf fked up my streak. Prime Loma was reliable but this old version is unpredictable. What the hell was he trying to be waving at the corner like a fkin tool that sht made me wanna barf.

At least Nonito didn’t disappoint. I made some crazy bets on him and dude came through with flying colors. Hell yea Nonito!

One more barrage of punches and the ref would have stepped in regardless of Commey’s condition.
Infact, Commey wasnt even that hurt so Lomachenko waving and sht at the corner like he some fkin jesus christ made him look silly like get over yourself dude.

Yeah, man - same here, I had bet Nonito in each of the first four rounds so I caught it at the last second, with the added thrill of Gaballo rising up then going down again!

I myself don't trust Loma anymore for betting after he pulled out all those excuses following the Lopez loss.
