Let's be real. He had his chance in the 7th and then commey regained his composure and was able to 'stop' Loma from stopping him. Loma didnt stop commey later in the fight because he couldnt do so any longer!

Other than the parts where Loma literally backed off and waved for Comey's corner to stop it, yeah, I didn't see a killer instinct in Loma otherwise.

Though to answer your question directly, yes, he chose not to punish Comey when he had him hurt which would of probably led to a stoppage...

Listen I don't get the lomachenko hate besides how they media compared him to Ali and ****, that pissed me off, but he is an amazing fighter, you can't deny it. At 135 he hasn't impressed me to think he could definitely beat all 4 those other top guys, but what he did at 126 and 130 was excellent, dominating a top fighter like GRJ after just 2 pro fights in such dominating fashion, making Walters quit when everyone was hyping up Walters and demanding that fight, and yes dominating Rigo, the size difference there was no different from the size difference in the Loma/Lopez fight, but everyone wants to make excuses for Rigo, who is one of my favorites and I think he has the best resume below 140, but not for Loma, look it was Rigo and his hardcore fans demanding that fight and insisting they'd expose Loma, it wasn't Loma calling out the smaller guy.

His resume and what he did at 126 and 130 destroys Tank, Haney, Ryan, however this doesn't mean that he beats those 3, we know he's struggled with the size difference/power and reach, he could lose to those 3 but that don't make him a bum. Let's see Ryan Garcia and Haney go up to 147 and fight Bud or Spence and see how they do with a size disadvantage.

Loma figured that he was way up on the score cards and decided to take it easy on Commey (this is just me guessing but he prolly felt bad for the guy) and so he choose to coast and get so much needed rounds in on a tough but outclassed opponent.

I found Loma's gesture to be quite offensive to say the least. It was an act of condescension and patronizing arrogance on his part. He perceived Commey as an overmatched opponent (which he was) who posed very little to no threat to him.

At the end of the fight? Or in the round where Commey went down?

After. If he jumped on him after the KD when Commey's legs were gone instead of looking to Commey's corner he could have got it. After that I don't think Loma carried him out of love. Even at the end of the 7th he was landing big shots again.

Then no. After the 7th, Commey was good again and they fought. I don't think he was at risk of being stopped after the 8th. Loma could have stopped him then. After that, not so much.
